Original Content Two Dusk Elves: A Couple of Lovebirds!
He saw her in a dream once, he recalls as he walks besides her. What would you have asked of me, she had said. Love me, he thought, but he kept silent.
The design was very much inspired by this image of a nubian woman I came across and I thought she was so beautiful, though I can't draw veils so easily!
I was also driven to draw this when the above line/quote came into my mind and didn't let go.
I wanted to play around as well with variations of dark skin that aren't just one ashy tone so this was my challenge to do that!

Haha, yeah! I must admit I am happy about that because it's showing me even now there is still a wide appetite for creationsinspired by Africa and Africans which is really encouraging!

This is cool! I wrote a romantasy book featuring a civilization of Black fairies but I haven’t done one with elves yet. So I might have to at some point!

Giant Insects? Definitely! Burned a lot of ants when I was young!
