Woah. Someone using a phone while driving actually got stopped?
(Am I the only person who never does this left in society?)

And it's easier than ever this day. Start up Apple Carplay or Android Auto, use the voice assistant to map your route, then play a podcast or music or an audiobook.
God forbid you can only reply to incoming texts via the voice assistant, or you can't stay off social media for 15 minutes.

And you want to know what I do when something requires more than that?
I pull over and park. OH MY GOD WHAT A CONCEPT.

Right? Even on the highway you can wait 5-10 km for the next rest stop pull out and stop there. This isn't a difficult concept.

More people need to follow Shockwire's advice:
"I Drive the Speed Limit Cause There's Drugs in the Car"

I’m happy to live in a country where “routine traffic stop turns into drug trafficking charge. Suspect arrested without incident, 0 injuries to report” is a newsworthy event

Drug dealing and texting/driving go hand in hand. How else are they supposed to multitask their entrepreneurial business without reducing efficiency? Stop somewhere to give their client an ETA? Doesn’t work for them brother!

could you imagine pulling into the shell to text the guy you're selling ketamine to to let him know you're running behind and there's traffic

Another commentator that doesn’t read the info and just posts their 2 cents.

Yeah I work for a living, no time to read every article about a speeding bust in a city of a million people

I watched a cop pull away from a house up my street, and he was on his phone.

They also have a panel of 30 toggle switches, a computer, 2 phones, a radio, etc.
Safe to say one single phone they are using would be fine compared to regular unskilled SUV and pick up truck people careening around turns taking up two lanes with screens of social media in their faces who take no pride or intention to improve their driving.

They usually say if you’re already breaking the law, don’t make it too obvious and break another law at the same time.
