Everything is at Jameson.

Of course, that's only helpful for players who have achieved Elite status.

I'm in Diaguandri right now, and they've got the fighter hangar. 489,297 credits (discount priced).

Be sure you're in your Keelback, and clicking on one of the size 5 optional internal slots.

The Type-6 can't use a fighter bay, so definitely stick with the Keelback for this. The console version won't offer modules your ship can't use. (The PC version allows you to buy modules to go directly into storage, so it doesn't have that restriction.)

For the same reason, be sure you're clicking on a size 5 optional internal slot when you're looking for the fighter bay. It won't fit in a smaller slot so it won't be offered if you click on one.

I'll take a look around and let you know if I find a place. What system are you in so I can try to spot something nearby? Diaguandri still?

Size 5 or larger slot, notably... There are larger hangars available (though I don't think any of them will fit a Keelback) which can carry additional fighters.

Fighter bay compatibility may be indicated when you're looking to purchase a ship or select a ship from your owned ships. I know it is in the Live version of the game on PC. I forget if they bothered to do that on the Legacy version (what PlayStation has). I've barely touched fighters, so I haven't paid much attention.

In general, only larger, combat-oriented ships (or larger ships that need extra defense and aren't combat-oriented, like the Type-9) can carry a fighter, but there are still plenty that can't. Those that can will have an additional large hatch on the bottom, separate from the cargo hatch.
