Night classes
Do undergrads have night classes? I’m an incoming graduate student this fall and am worried about the commute back to my apartment late at night and was curious about how lively it will be.

There are few undergraduate classes at night, but the area of Boston around campus will be lively when graduate classes end at 9:45. There will be people coming from theaters, restaurants, concerts, etc. and the T will be busy as well. Grad students often walk from campus to the T station together after class so there’s need to worry about being alone walking through isolated areas at night if that’s a concern.

Latest class is usually at 9:45 I think, but still it’s overall safe. I will say tho, a lot of times the city feels empty after 9-10 on weekdays (in my experience). Although this is true, again, i’ve gone on walks at 1 am on weekdays and felt safe, as long as you are ofc minding your business and aware of your surroundings!

There are classes that end at 9:45 and the city will start to feel empty, but it’s still crowded at night.

Yes there are definitely night classes for undergrad and I have had a few, but most importantly even late at night downtown isn’t the most sketchy place. and if you are taking the train or bus around 10pm there will definitely be others doing the same.
