I've always wondered this. Why on "Stan" did Em say "You know the song by Phil Collins, 'In the Air of the Night' About that guy who coulda saved that other guy from drownin"? That song was about a jilted lover not a guy drowning. Anyway just seeing if anyone could explain because I've always wondered that. That is all.

Kinda like "Suffering from succes" but literally. When i make my jokes just because i mostly wanna make myself laugh, the instand feedback of a weird look like "really dude..?" is actually funny in its own way and you can work with that. Extend the joke based on the reaction and stuff. But when you think in your head "Yeah this joke is KIIIINDA funny but i dont expect a laugh i just said it cuz it came to mind and to get a reaction" that would be so annoying when people just reply with fake laughter and praise just because youre a big name and you could tell its just a reaction to get on good terms with you, instead of geniune "wow... you serious dude..?" and being able to work with that further xD
I always wondered what would B Rabbit be doing if Papa Doc’s career took off?

I always thought 2014-2017 was the lowest point in Eminem's carrier, and i never was really fan of neither of these two, even if they have some hidden gems

I’ve been watching a lot of Stat Quo’s interviews and such and it reminded me of how good he was on the Re-Up. Turns out, this is arguably the best of the Shady compilation albums? Idk I still don’t know what to feel about XV.
Aside from the ones led by Em, the Cry Now remix is probably my favorite to play. Everybody killed it on there, Kuniva surprisingly got my favorite verse; coming from someone who doesn’t really like Kuniva compared to like Swift (I actually confuse them a lot still lol).

Whenever discussions about Shady Records turn into criticisms about "failed" or inactive artists, there's always a massive lack of accounting for individual artist responsibility. These creators are adults living their own lives, deciding for themselves when to step into the studio and make music. Eminem has explicitly stated that Shady operates more as a boutique label. That means these artists have total creative freedom to write, record, and drop music when they choose (as long as Interscope doesn't intervene). But at the end of the day, sometimes they just don't....and they go quiet in the process.
Take a look at this quote (slightly paraphrased) from an interview that Westside Boogie did explaining where he’s been since his last album:
"I’ve got a teenager now who drives me crazy (lol), but he just had a birthday. I took two years off just to actually be present in the moment. When I make music, I like to speak directly from where I am in life right now, and you can’t create anything real without actual life experience. I’m just trying to enjoy living, because at the end of the day, you can’t get that time back."
