Hello everyone,

First off, I'm on the newest version of both SketchUp and Enscape.

This morning, Enscape wouldn't start, citing a licensing issue. I found no licensing issue in my account, but I updated Enscape to the newest version, and it started to work after that.

Updating it, though, has made it so that the Sketch Rendering option does not work. It's missing a majority of linework in objects and groups, giving an incomplete render. I went through all my settings, resetted settings, tried different models and it simply won't render how it did a few days ago before the last update.

I apprieicate if anyone has any advice or suggestions on how to fix this.

How can I use the panorama render I did from enscape into an hdri?

Im using archicad as my modeling program and when. I render usually like to cut the model to get the view that I want. The problem is when the view has a mirror. It reflects the cut off part of the model then the default sky in enscape. I need the interior to reflect instead. So I'm figuring out if I could use the panorama render I have of the interior as the HDRI.

Has anyone tried to do this? Please give me suggestions

I've tried grass and carpet but it only works on horizontal surface.

I really need help. I've already tried on 2 different devices. I restarted my laptop, restarted the whole process from scratch too.

It downloads everything else. But won't download enscape. What am i supposed to do?

Maybe this is a stupid little detail that I forgot to check, or maybe I don't understand how light works, but i'm trying to get a milk glass from this lamp (White, a little transparency so we can see the bulb inside)

Frosted Glass does the same thing, as well as playing with the refractive index. Feels like I'm missing something.

This is something that happens every time i've got something with a little transparency (curtains too). They just come out dark, no matter the color.

Software: SketchUp 2024 and Enscape 4.1

Until last month, I was using SketchUp 2021 and Enscape 4.1. Both original.

Then I updated my SketchUp to 2025 and Enscape to 4.8. I took so long because I didn't really like SketchUp's new interface, but now at my job, I'm using Live Components, so I had to upgrade SKP.

But now my renderings with Enscape look worse and take forever to generate the images!!! When I start Enscape, I receive a message "Enscape is turning off ray-traced sun shadows, review your project setups," and it's the exact same file that I generated high-quality renderings with no problem last month.

I also tried this with Enscape 4.7, 4.6, and now 4.1. Same problem.

I started getting this message last month after upgrading the software, then I thought: ok, maybe it's time to upgrade my CPU, it's been a while. And then, after buying a new CPU that is significantly better than the previous one, Enscape goes through the same problem. My renderings look worse now than they did with the older software and older CPU.

This is my current setup:
CPU: Intel i5 12400F
GPU: RTX 2070 SUPER
32GB RAM
3TB HD
Both Enscape and SketchUp are installed on an SSD.

Please, any input on this problem will be appreciated. I tried changing every rendering setup, and I downloaded the latest drivers for both my CPU and GPU. I am very frustrated right now.

I’m trying to use a polyhaven exterior skybox for use in an interior rendering to see through windows in the view. My problem is that every skybox looks way too zoomed in. How do I fix this?

These are modelled on sketchup, rendered on enscape or enhanced with chat gpt

Hi, I'm new to Enscape. I'm modeling in Revit and trying to model some polycarbonate walls but they appear really different in the render despite being the same materials? Anyone know how to fix this ? Much appreciated

Looking for help on the lighting for my model. I am working with Revit & Enscape. The building is a large warehouse with very little window openings to the exterior. This specific spot of the rendering you will not see any exterior lighting. I have actual & accurate light fixtures in the room along with some of the objects. My model lighting is completely off, its sparkling & shimmering. How can I fix this? I've included an image also of my settings.

Some stuff I've already checked - there is no additional light besides the fixtures from the ceiling. The paint across the board is not reflective. None of the metal has reflectivity either. All walls / floors are also closed so the sun should not really be involved in this image.

Hi there! I just wanted to know if someone already tried using a pirated Enscape on a Macbook using Parallels Desktop.

So, I'm using a Macbook Pro M2, and couldn't really afford a new Windows laptop or PC. Parallels Desktop is a software that lets Macbook users switch their OS to Windows.

Since pirated softwares (like Enscape) are generally easier to download on Windows, does anyone know if it would still work if I use a pirated version of Enscape, on my Macbook, using a Parallels Desktop so I can run Windows?
