"Someone Said Goodbye (Remix)" is an official song sent on CD only to radio stations for airplay in 2006. Despite being an official version, it wasn't included in any public release, either physical or digital. Does anyone have the file in lossless format? When I finish my project (of official material), I'll show you the result.

I have the entire official discography on CDs, but not the CD singles, EPs, or special editions. So I decided to compile all the songs not included on the albums onto a single CD. What do you think of the track order?

P.S.: I know that "May It Be" and "Aníron" are on the deluxe version of "The Very Best," but the ones I've included here are from the film soundtrack, which were edited differently.

Recently I got forward a YT with title "Enya - Echoes in White (2026 Official AI Music Video)". It even has the vevo logo in the thumbnail. I just want to know is it really official?

PS: I listen to Enya for years in a very "layback" style. I used to buy CD, and now just buy tracks on Apple music. I don't follow entertainment news on social and somehow never search for Enya on YT.

just venting/complimenting this incredible artist and how her work speaks to my soul <3

almost every time i feel sad, i listen to Caribbean Blue. i think it became one of my most listened songs ever, ever since i discovered her music. and it's impressive how it works everytime. it doesn't matter how dark things feel, if i feel lonely, if i feel hopeless, if i keep thinking about the past, what i didn't do, what i should've done... that instrumental starts, along with Enya's ethereal voice, and my mind already transports me to somewhere else. i imagine a very blue, turquoise sea, a green meadow shining under the sun, flowers blossoming in every color you can imagine... i think about the future, i think about everytime someone has been kind to me, every act of love i've witnessed... it takes a burden off my chest. i swear i even pay more attention to my breathing, and how the chords make me peacefully sigh.

Enya's music, to me, feels like those fantasy/adventure movies we'd watch when we were kids and that sentiment of peace, of "everything we'll be okay", that we feel by the end of the story, when the characters start walking towards the sunset. she was truly inspired when she made Caribbean Blue. and i think the music video expresses perfectly the magic feeling this song transmits, how it awakens your imagination and how there is a whole world you don't see. i'm very glad i met her work and i admire her deeply for the artistic contribution she has left for the world. she's one of those people i can't even imagine doing something else for a living, given how vocational and unique her work is. what a blessing she chose to do music.

I think they do add to the feel 💙🎶 (a soothing effect, sometimes a playful one) and makes the rhythm more defined. Then again it's nice without the clicks as well, and I finally managed to extract them! 🪄 (I'll upload to my YouTube eventually:)

Only Time, Diamonds on the Water and One Toy Soldier are the tracks I can think of where it is prominent. Does anyone know any more? ☺️

This is pretty interesting to see in terms of pure sales and no streaming.

Look how undercertified her albums are in Canada. Shepherd Moons is certified 3x platinum there for 300,000 units when it's more than eligible for 6x platinum for 600,000 units. In the US, eligible for 6x platinum instead of 5x.

If you combine streaming, it's more likely her US sales for Shepherd Moons is 7 million and probably 8 million for A Day Without Rain. The latter would also be her 3rd million selling record in Japan.

Tastes vary, but when it comes to popularity, wouldn’t most people agree that these are Enya’s top three songs?

The song is The Whole of The Moon originally by The Waterboys in 1985; this cover was by the late Terry Reid 😌 and contributions from Enya ♡

I think the story was that Enya was at the same studio (SARM West; closed in 2013) for the final mixing of Shepherd Moons. Terry wanted some backing vocals, and Enya was definitely up for it! 😁💙🎶

The thing I've been wondering is whether she's also singing the long 'oooh' s beginning at 0:17? I think both are; I mostly hear Enya in the left channel. 😯🎶

I think the harmonies on 'you saw the whole of the moon' are Terry himself, and Enya is definitely the one singing the lovely intro and outro (another clip here) 🥰

Listened to Enya for the first time (The Shepards Moon album) while reading Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil and it was transcendent if anyones reading this book or plans to I would totally reccomend pairing it with the album!
