We’d like to spend next summer in Estes Park in our RV. Is there anywhere that has spots with monthly rental rates and allow a retired couple to stay from May- September?

We’re getting married next spring at the Black Canyon Inn - The Boulders and we’re looking to transport ~100 guest. We got a quote from the Estes Park Trolley company for two 24 person shuttles in rotation. Does anyone have experience with this company for wedding transportation?

Planning to spend a weekend in Estes in October to celebrate our wedding anniversary in the town we got married! My parents also live there and I got a small tattoo years ago from an artist that has since moved out of town. I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo and thought why not while we’re on “vacation”. I’ve researched on Google looks like there are now 3 shops and each have pretty mixed reviews - anyone care to try to convince me one is better than the others?

I am considering a job offer in Estes Park and would be looking at a commute from either Longmont or Loveland. I am new to Colorado so I am unfamiliar with what this may be like and if it would be worth the job. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m visiting Estes Park next week for a few days and wanted to get suggestions on camping. For context, I have a ford transit camper van.

I’ve camped at Meeker Park before when visiting Estes Park, and considering that again. During this trip, I also plan to visit RMNP and already have a reserved time.

Would it be better to stay in a campsite within RMNP, or outside it along Hwy 7? Should I do one night in RMNP, then another outside the park? Or stay in the same spot both nights?

We plan to do RMNP for one day, and Estes the other day.

Good LORD! I feel like this is just something everyone should know. But there was a herd of elk right in the middle of town today. Pretty normal, and also pretty typical to see tourist feet away. Today there were even a few calves. Yes, they are adorable as heck but that makes the situation even more dangerous! Stay as far back as possible! I saw so many people maybe 5 feet away from the calves and herd. The most people I have ever seen surrounding the herd on all sides. They are relatively chill but they are still wild animals. If you get kicked, or trampled it's going to hurt. Keep your distance please dear God!

Will be staying the night in Estes Park in a couple weeks on a road trip - any recommendations for a good dinner spot as a solo traveler? Somewhere solid but not insanely pricy food, where I could sit at the bar or won't feel out of place.

Hey guys. Just moved here somewhat sporadically - some friends of ours were trying to sell the house next door to where they lived without much success, and my roommate and I had been looking for a place to live that was nicer than where we had been staying somewhat close by on the front range, and things just worked out.

I’m really and truly blown away at just how nice it is, and how lucky I feel to be living where I am. There’s a path that sort of goes through our backyard, and this picture is taken maybe a quarter mile or so down that path. It’s like a painting or something, just breathtaking. I’m still waking up every morning and just feeling stunned at how ridiculously beautiful it is here. There were just about 50 or 60 elk moving through my backyard an hour ago. It’s overwhelming.

I’ve only been here a couple of weeks or so and I haven’t really had much of a chance to go out and do fun things. I’m not a very touristy person and didn’t really come here to do tourist stuff, but there’s a lot of stuff that definitely intrigues me. I’d love to know stuff like what best local coffee shop, best pizza, or just general local tips and tricks. I’d been living over in Coal Creek Canyon for some years so I’m used to living in a high-altitude semi-isolated area in the foothills. It’s actually way less isolated here in Estes, which is pretty refreshing.
