Hey! Ive been looking to play these games and the hd versions seemed cool, but found some discussion about ai-upscaled backgrounds and similar things, but nothing clear. Is it something we know now? Do you know if ai is there? Or is it obvious at least?

Id be playing on pc the DS versions if yes, so theres no drama at all xd. hugs, kisses and all from spain and thanks for the answers! (if theres any!)

(I know theres people that do not find a problem with ai, i do and thats why i ask, dont answer if you are just going to say that it doesnt matter)

I just reached the 4th Stratum, and my Zodiac is sitting on 6 unspent skill points because I'm not sure where to invest them.

Should I work toward an elemental Prophecy, Meteor, Concealment for the chance to evade attacks or what would be more useful going forward?

My party consists of a Gladiator-Windling // Hoplite Ninja // Arbalist-Galdiator // Monk-Sovereign

My Zodiac mainly relies on Etheric Charge and the elemental Stars for damage.

Against bosses, I tend to move my Arbalist to the front row and clone my Zodiac on the back for extra damage or use it to Dark Ether the front row so my Gladiator and Hoplite can keep using their skills without needing Amritas.

Does anyone know how to find Pasaran? Specifically the white ones. I know the others can be found in B24F by using Lightning on one to lure the other. I'm trying to complete all the Steam achievements for the entire trilogy, I only have the third game left, but this Pasaran achievement is a nightmare! I'd rather kill the Abyssal God on Expert using five unarmed Farmers than hunt for Pasaran. But anyway, I've searched everywhere, and i found these white ones appear in "specific spots in B1f~B4f" But that's the thing, where exactly are those locations? There isn't a single reference point, it's all very vague, and there's no way for me to know

Running a triple imperial,sovereign and nightseeker. This team is pretty high risk high reward cuz im just burst damaging all the time tbh sovereign is a God on any team I feel cuz they can just buff and give a lil bit of tp. I've made other teams but just wanted some suggestions on what I should subclass into with this team 🤔

I just finished EO2 and, like EO1, the same thought popped. I do know both games have a 6th stratum with a final boss, but I've been saving to do them in the remakes since I do plan on playing them after EO4 and I don't want to ruin my surprise.. only to realize I don't even know if they'll be the same thing 😭

So yeah it's a silly question, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

I know the hd versions exist and have quality of life but am low on funds and have a modded 3ds. Are the ds versions really tedious or something?

Are they still worth playing on the ds or should i just wait until i can get the hd versions?

So I was reading some stuff between metaphor and the first EO and they were saying that Lost Shinjuku was inspired by also a dungeon that is 'Lost Shinjuku' from the first EO (or maybe I was mistaken?)

I've been playing EO HD but I don't know if I got spoiled ;(

I paused playing Etrian Odyssey 2 several years ago and have just gone back to my save at the 21st floor. My Party are around level 60 and have mostly finished builds, but what should I spend my last 10 points on for each below? My end goal is to beat the Ur Child on floor 30 without retiring any party members, though if I have to rest a character or two I can live with that.

Also if you have any favourite suggestions for favourite weapons for the classes that would be great! (Like the Agnea or Agneyastra for the Gunner)

I just finished glandsheim area 4 and got Kupala as guildkeeper when I saw online that you can get Austin as your second.

Basically I have completed the quest "Find the detective", but I can't seem to get the quest called

"Missing detective". Any idea if I'm maybe locked out of it or if I'm missing something.

Hey all, I'm currently trying to GM a Pathfinder2E Adaption of Etrian Odyssey 4. As such, it would be great if I could have access to the stratum arts, npc art, and town art. I've got most npc art assembled, but stratum art that I found is low-res and the town art is incomplete.

Does anyone with better google-fu know where I can find all art assets of EO4 in high quality formats? Thanks in advance.

So recently i have getting interesting in playing rpgs, and Etrian Odyssey is from the type i havent tried yet, so i kinda want to try them, I saw that on switch the first 3 are available as remasters, but i also know that the first 2 have remakes on 3ds, my question is: Should i play the HD remasters or just skip them and play the remakes?????

We already have Drive Blades and Imperials for Cut, and I've come up with an idea for a Boost Hammer-using class here and here, taking care of Blunt Damage. Now all that's left is coming up with a class and weapon for Stab Damage.
