Hi !
I’m curious about everyone's preferences when it comes to Eurodance vocals.
Which singers or vocalists / rappers do you think have the best, most beautiful, most distinctive or most exciting voices? Maybe you like a particular singer's tone, accent, power, softness, or the way they sing🎶?
And are there any singers whose voices you don't really like, even if you like the music? Are there unknown singers who have a great voice but never went public in Eurodance because models were put on stage or in the musicvideos?

Hey everyone! I'm currently refining a high-energy 150 BPM Euro-Rave / Hands Up project targeted at the West-European festival and club scene (think 90s rave vibes, stadium kicks, and heavy melodic hooks). Before launching the promo campaign, I wanted to open a quick strategy discussion and get your thoughts on two points: Playlist vs. Short-Form Content: For high-bpm dance music, are you currently seeing better ROI on organic TikTok/Reels trends or targeted Spotify playlist pitching? Arrangement Feedback: I'm testing how well the contrast works between the rhythmic chant sections and the main chorus hook. If anyone has time to take a listen, constructive feedback on the mix and overall energy is super appreciated! (Transparency note per Rule 3: This project utilizes AI-assisted tools / workflows). Drop a link to your current project below as well—happy to trade feedback and check out your work!

This album from Belarus might be one of the best pieces of Eurodance music! The songs Midtro + World Of X-T-C and Энергия Любви (Energy Of Love) are unbeatable. Sad that we stopped making this type of music. PS. they're were also called Belarusian Masterboy.

Hello to all! I heard this song on Europa Plus/NRJ in Russia in mid-00 years, maybe it was 2007-2008. It's dance electronic track, sounds like typical dance music of this time (like Basic Element - To You, Danny Saucedo - If only you etc). I heard lyrics "Groove the night! Yeah! Yeah!".
Sorry for my voice.

So in 1997 there was a Danish Eurodance project called QT by Katja Bondebjerg. She released her album in 1997 called "Pieces Of Dreams". The project was produced by Hit'N'Hide's producers, Jens C. Ringdal and Sune Munkholm Pedersen. Also Hit'N'Hides first album "On A Ride" women singer Gitte Jeanne Christiansen did big part of this project. QT released three singles called "Amigo", "The Message" and "Say Na Na Na". They also did music video for Amigo that is watchable in youtube. That project weren't that successful, but this album got covered by many artists.
Covers
Amigo - Bambee (1999)
Cowgirl - Bambee (2001)
The Message - Ni-Ni (2001)
The Message - Oscillator X (2010)

I've never been much of a "eurodance" guy; when it comes to EDM, I've always been more into trance & house (and all their subgenres)... and Hands Up (what a cheesy throwback), which is just... well, harder eurodance in a sense, lol. So I do enjoy some of this genre, just haven't gotten into it heavily yet.
This song above is amazing... so hypnotic, so atmospheric. I guess it does have a bit of a trance-y vibe to it with how hard the melody is, which probably explains why I'm drawn to it so heavily.
If you have any recommendations like this beaut above, please share!! Definitely wanna get into eurodance more. I think this song and its equals may very well be my gateway.

Hello to all the native English speakers here! 😊
I’ve always wondered: when you listen to Eurodance, do you find the lyrics silly/simple, or do you actually find them interesting, catchy, or even great? I’m asking because I’m not a native English speaker. Sometimes I hear lyrics like “Feel the Heat of the Night,” “Rhythm Is a Dancer,” “you are my desire,” “Energy of Light” etc., and they sound completely natural to me because I’m used to hearing English in music.
But I sometimes wonder how they sound to a native English speaker. For example, if "Lover on the line, or Rhythm Is a Dancer , Electronic Pleasure", ´cause I´m Mr. Vain, were translated literally into my native language, I think the lyrics would sound almost ridiculous. 😂
Do native English speakers perceive Eurodance lyrics differently because English is their native language? Do you hear some lyrics and think, “Wow, that's actually a great line,” or do you sometimes think, “What does this even mean?” 😂Or do the actual words and meaning not matter that much to you?
When you hear very simple Eurodance lyrics such as “No limit,” “feel the rhythm,” or “Turn me up,” "you make me high", do you actually think about what the words mean, or do you mostly experience them as part of the melody and rhythm?
Or do you simply like how the English words sound when they are sung because the vocals, pronunciation, rhythm and melody all sound excellent together?
And another question: Eurodance has singers from many different countries, including native and non-native English speakers. Can you usually tell which singers are native English speakers just by listening to their pronunciation and lyrics? Does a foreign accent make you notice the lyrics more?
AND Do you actually notice grammatical mistakes or unusual phrasing? Or do you tend to ignore them because they fit the melody?

I love when eurodance explicitly references other artists in its lyrics. Can anyone name more examples?
First Base - Love is Paradise (like SWV girl, Anything)
Antares - Ride on a Meteorite (I'm jamming on the moon, grooving to Jam & Spoon)
Crush - Jellyhead (I want the Prodigy really loud)
