Schedules/Routines MOTN pump
So I’m 6.5 months in and it just hit me that once supply is regulated, many drop the MOTN feed. My typical schedule is 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 9pm and whenever LO wakes to eat (after 2am, because some nights he’s still up to eat twice). I’m wanting to drop the MOTN feed (or maybe just skip it once or twice) because it feels like LO has been up nearly every hour the last few night, and the wake ups are so much less miserable when i don’t need to pump.
I’m nervous about dropping this feed because i don’t want to kill my supply. I typically pump around 40 oz and LO drinks about 30 oz, but lately it feels like his intake is increasing and my output is slowly decreasing. We recently traveled so i bagged & froze most of my milk, but I feel like we’ll barely have enough to make it through tomorrow without tapping into frozen milk.
Anyone go through anything similar and successfully maintain supply?
Also, we’ve always differentiated between day and night milk, but is it really that significantly different?

I can't help on the supply front, but I do have a review on studies involving day and night milk.

Unfortunately, the conclusion was mixed. Some studies were higher quality than others, some differences were noted, and it may play a role in Circadian function/rhythm development in children, but whether this is important or significant enough for you to separate out your milk or keep an extra night pump is up to you.

I don’t think there’s anything significant between daytime and nighttime milk.
Hello from my MOTN pump/ feed :)
