Any plans for the weekend?
I'm so glad this God forsaken week is almost over. I got laundry done after work so I'll just be going grocery shopping for the weekend. Thinking of making a pot of spaghetti and using the leftover veggies I have for a salad. Picked up this ultra delicious Dill Pickle Ranch dressing. It's so freaking yummy.
Just got done playing those classic WWE games on GameCube. WrestleMania 19 is so much fun. Had a blast playing a Tornado Tag Team match in a Hell In A Cell. Trish Stratus(me) and HBK vs Goldberg and Scott Steiner. It was freaking fun. Those WWE games have such great memories.
I'm thinking about checking out a festival after work tomorrow. The only thing that sucks is it's about 10 miles away so I gotta keep track of time cause I don't want to miss the last bus and be stranded.

might go see my ~2 month old niece, who's not the most vibrant company yet, but cute as heck. otherwise nothing too exciting - cook, lift, the usual. finally finished Expedition 33 (aight, but way overhyped), probably gonna start some new game after I stare down my Steam library paralyzed by options for a few hours. also saw The Odyssey the other day - as an analog photography geek the 70mm IMAX print was lovely indeed, but the film itself didn't captivate me as much as I hoped. Nolan needs to hire someone to punch up his scripts, the man cannot write dialogue to save his life... not a new problem with his films, but wasn't quite enough here to make up for it for my taste.
also probably going to plan/book a vacation somewhere, need to burn some PTO. if anyone has ideas for cool places to go in September somewhere on this planet, lemme know.

I like Hawaii. I usually go once a year. September is a great time to go since it's the slower season so things are a bit cheaper.

I used to play SmackDown: Here Comes the Pain (on PS2) as a kid. I remember climbing the fist on the stage and brawling in the shower area. Good times.

That game is a classic. I remember brawling in times square , jumping from helicopters, and having snowball fights in that game.
Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, and the Road Warriors were so strong and impossible to beat. I used to have no dq handicap matches as Victoria( my teenage crush. Yeah I preferred her over Stacy Keibler) vs Brock and Goldberg. Matches were insane. I think I won like twice.

No plans. No progress either.
Nothing good as happened. I am still here. Still struggling to gather the energy to take steps outside every day. Shoulders feel so heavy. With every exhale I feel tremendous weight on my chest.
I have had thoughts. Thoughts to take small steps. To send some enquiries.
What is the point though? To better myself? To improve my life? Every time I have taken steps I fail.
Small steps. Maybe this time will be different. Say it enough times to convince myself to try again.
Maybe this time will be different.
Maybe this time will be different.
Maybe this time will be different.

It's good you are keeping on top of laundry, a lot of bachelors don't. One of the things I like about hotel stays in the feeling of clean crisp bed linen.
Good you can cook somewhat too, it doesn't need to be fancy but it beats Muccy D's.

Its spring here so I think I will go to the nursery and get some new plants to replace last years annuals. Maybe I will try strawberries again too, just need to water them less this time.

Buffalo Bisons are having "Theatre Night" tonight in honor of the 100th anniversary of a local theater so hoping the team's mascot dresses in either a top hat and tuxedo or as Phantom of the Opera 🤣⚾🧸

In people's own experiences but also observations of regular people around them like family and work colleagues, how well does that line of "you can't change <blah> any more so stop worrying about it", or thinking, or obsessing, ... (you get the idea) work?
I mean sure I get the basic jist of it, but in my book I certainly cannot let go of 20+ years of adult life and a wasted youth that is permanently gone literally we only live each time period once.

No plans. Had a shitty week and I'm considering going back to therapy. Tried to exercise and hurt my back which is giving me considerable anxiety.
