I'm back. It has been a while:)

Next up is Nick Houghton's former club, AFC Fylde. The Coasters got relegated to the NL North two seasons ago but bounced right back by winning the league last season. They had a mixed start, with one win, one draw, and one loss out of their first 3 games.
One of the standout players was striker Danny Ormerod, but he signed for Peterborough United yesterday. However, Fylde still have a strong squad.
After the awful performance against Boreham Wood FGR will look to show a reaction. But if I'm being honest, I don't see us winning this game. I think Boreham Wood showed us that we have serious problems. So far, we have conceded 2 goals per game on average, which is atrocious. Our offense should be one of the best in the league, yet we haven't had a single shot on target against Boreham Wood. Multiple new players are not performing well so far, and I don't really see a tactical concept. While we have seen good individual performances, we don't work as a team very well.
I'm honestly worried about how this season will continue because we haven't really seen what this team SHOULD be able to do. Two turnaround wins against Halifax and Worthing, and a disaster against Boreham Wood, are not very promising. Hopefully we can start to win games more comfortably and avoid conceding this many goals soon. Falling behind early on in the season would be very suboptimal.

I won’t lie, I had a few doubts about this game. Great win, great comeback, and although I’d much rather have clean sheets - I’m glad the season has started again. Great to see McAllister on the scoresheet, too.
