Help Is there a VST that lets you draw a waveform and export it as a single cycle?
I've been trying to find something like this for a while but have had zero luck

Generic question, I know. But what do people use FL Studio for? I've always thought of people who use it as people who want to become musicians or artists but I know there are also some hobbyists out there as well who just do stuff for fun. For me, I want to learn to make music not just for myself but to also maybe blow up. But I know that loving music isn't the only thing needed to succeed since I think everyone here loves music, it just gives me anxiety and a little bit of dread if putting my time into this is even worth it. I just want to learn what people use FL Studio for. Whether you're a producer, a newbie, or just someone using it to make music for their games, I want everyone's thoughts.
Edit: I should rephrase the question since it might be misleading. I'm more specifically talking about the type of person and what do they use it for. I know well known producers use FL Studio but I'm wondering if that's the majority or the minority. That type of thing.

Hey!
This is more of a concept than a song. I have tried hard to get the mix to sound right here. I really need feedback. Does is sound ok? What elements would you tweak?
Also, is the melodies good enough to make a song from?

I was supposed to be on for 5 minutes lol but that's impossible everytime I tell myself that.
I ended up really digging this actually, and I'm thinking of how I would expand or incoorporate it into a song. Normally I make synthwave/darkwave but these sounds scratched my brain.

Greetings, I have been making music with some cheap headphones, they are not the most powerful but they are decent and at a price that is accessible to me on a daily basis
However, a few days ago I decided to look for more powerful, therefore more expensive headphones (to be exact, QKZ Enzo Pro) and the difference is very noticeable.
Now, my dilemma is that in a song that I produce with the QKZ they always sound the best, while in the headphones that I used previously, they sound horribly bad.
Which one should I stay with to make music and it sounds good and not have a dilemma about which one I should stay with and which one I shouldn't?

I used to DJ but don't have the equipment anymore. This is a fun way to use FL studio. I hear great mixes in videos from clubs a lot and always wish i could have a version of them with out the crowd noise, or MC rapping over the top etc. Some of this is recreated from videos like that and some of it is me messing about myself. Hope you like it :) I'll put a link to full free DL soundcloud version in comments if anyone wants it.

Okay so I'm trying to set up a decent foundational template to work from but have a couple questions regarding routing of tracks in to sends & busses and whether I'm on the right track or not!
Currently I've got it set up so that each type of individual track is being sent to a group bus (eg, lead vocals, backing vocals, guitars etc). On those group busses I've got more overall FX inserts like EQ, glue compression etc.
Those group busses are then being sent to a pre master bus, and then to the stereo out.
For each group Ive also got a reverb send & a delay send, which the individual tracks are being route to as well. Those FX sends are then routing straight to the pre master bus - not going through the group busses.
So a couple other things I just wanted to maybe get some advice on are - okay so say I have a bunch of vocal tracks (C, C2, L, R etc), do I wanna typically put for example EQ, compression, de-esser, saturation, air EQ on every single individual track? Or set up another FX send for them which is then sent to the group bus or stereo out?
Secondly, I'm slightly confused about the menu options that let you select for example 'route to this track only' - when do I need to use these? I understand visually I can see the cables routing the individual tracks to both the Fx sends and the busses already?
Also if there's anything else essential to this stuff that I might have missed please feel free to share! I'm coming from a logic background so the routing is a bit of a learning curve!

I've been a musician for a long time, a working one for the past couple years doing church gigs when I can score them but I've always had a passion to produce. Something personal in my life has given me "musicians block" for the past two years or so but I have finally broke free from that and have made something to share with you, the internet! I also my Video made with FL Studio ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin was pretty simple to do. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
