pocketing

how you get clean pocketing and know where ribs should go? my pocketing always comes out looking horrible

im using part lighten studio

Its a lot of guesswork. It also depends on the shape of the part but usually you want to figure out the load context of your part as well as have ribs around any bolt holes or bearing holes. Depending on the thickness of the material, a thinner material usually means thicker ribs and vise-versa. My advice would be look at other teams CAD and how they pocket their parts which I think would help.
