As more terminal hair is coming & staying, I’ve been really intrigued by more of these red hairs coming in. I have dark brown (and some silver…) hair on my head, so I was expecting just a dark beard. I hope more keep coming in - I love it! You can also see here the real thin patch I have under my chin… hoping that will fill in. It’s real obvious (to me at least) in photos / on screen for work videoconferencing.

Hi! I would like to start minoxidil but only can access liquid form. I do not own cats myself but sometimes visit a friend who has cats (and they LOVE to give kisses).
I wonder if it would be safe to just not apply minox the day I want to see the cats.

Are there any consequences of not applying it once in a while? How long does it stay on your face and is potentially dangerous? Could a good face wash on that day ensure that it is completely off me or do I have to wait more?

So I am one month on the foam minoxidil and there has been some growth since my last post! I have since shaved as I wanted to tidy up a bit 🥹 I am noticing some thicker hair and a few more darker hairs around my cheeks a little sparse but what I noticed most was how fluffy and long the peach fuzz is getting! So I'm just gonna continue and see how it goes and hopefully after 9 years on T I'm on the right track to getting a beard! 🤞

Hey guys, so I've been looking for minoxodil everywhere in my city for the past like few weeks and i could only find a bottle of 2%. I've heard people say 2% is just a waste of time and wont even do anything but idk i feel like 2% is better than nothing. What's everyone's experience with it?

I’m 1 year 2 months on T and 1 month on or minoxidil I hate how the sideburns grow in and it makes me feel weird having it and hoping that someone can help me out and whether I should shave, clean or just trim it?

hi everyone, i'm one year on T and considering minox. I feel like its kinda too soon to be bashing my facial hair since it takes years to get some cohesive growth, so I'd be taking minox more for the body hair/scalp hair benefits. I do worry about the hormone changes i've heard of. has anyone started minox after a year on T and noticed a negative effect on mental health? specifically the pill form? (i have a cat, heard topical minox is deadly to cats) it's very important to me to stay mentally stable, T has been the only thing that works as a mood stabilizer for me and I can't risk that. but at the same time I want to start minox to save my hairline/get hairier overall. is this possible?

I can’t get testosterone medication, but I heard minoxidil can help. But I need some advice on how to start.

I can’t get it anywhere except for a drug store over the counter or amazon. I can’t get a prescription by myself and if I get it from a special store my parents will find out if They check out my card and thats not good for me.

What drugstores sell over the counter minoxidil? I live near a CVS and a Walgreens. If I have a bad chance of getting it there, what kind is good on Amazon? I have a lot of questions about it so list them out.

1. Is there really a difference between men’s and women‘s minoxidil?
2. should I get the oil, foam, cream, spray, or pill? I would rather not pill because of trauma related to them that causes extreme emotional reactions, but if it’s the only kind that actually works I’ll take it anyway.
3. Is there any risk in a cheap minoxidil? Not like normal side effects but like if cheap stuff will damage the skin it’s good to know.
4. If anyone gets it on Amazon and It works please link it.

i've been using minox since i was 17 and just started T 6 weeks ago for context. growth has been increasing since starting T but even pre-t, with consistent minox, rosemary+biotin oil, and derma rolling i got a pretty solid foundation. vid from last night in the comments

I've recently bought a 3 months supply of Regaine foam minoxidil can anyone give me any tips on usage? I have never used this before and this is currently the facial hair I am working with atm. I am 9 years on T (Nebido 1000mg) and I think it's time I start using minoxidil to work on beard growth. I have peach fuzz on my cheeks and I usually have a little bit of a goatee and as pictured my moustache and soul patch. If anyone has used this type of minoxidil before please can you give me some advice/tips? ☺️

So Im 17, FTM and pre-T . I want to get facial hair to feel a little less dysphoric. Right now, I have topical minoxidil and Rosemary oil. I plan to use beard dye after using minoxidil for 3 months or so, to darken my hair since it most likely will result in peach fuzz (Since Im pre T)

If anyone knows the most effective method to grow the hair fast or better, please let me know! I heard about micro-needling but Im not to sure its not just a money grab. What is the best routine for facial hair growth?

i originally used it when i first started t to get a start on facial hair but then stopped after my 4 month supply ran out and didn’t bother to get more bc i was satisfied with even just having real facial hair and not a prepubescent dirtstache but now i want to grow it all out and fill in the patchy bits bc once i get the hair follicles all growing i can just trim it down short and it’ll grow back.
and i know itll grow back bc my neckbeard has to be shaved every week or two bc i dont clean shave i just cut it super short with clippers

Hey hello, Im asking this cuz from the posts ive seen or reddit, people are usually really good responders and their progress is much faster than mine. Ive been using 5% minox for 6 months (aprox.) Do yall think i should continue and is it worth it? Im 3 yrs on T.

i have seen people with some crazy results, so i fugured i would share my rather underwhelming one, to even it out lol :'D it has been a very slow but at least steady progress

i am using minox since January, at first apllying only 1x a day 5x a week (i have cats and am not comfortable having it on my face while i'm around them), few months ago i started to apply 2x times a day while i'm at my workplace and just recently switched to foam from liquid :D

I can't find a trans specific beard group. I don't know how to get minoxidil, and I don't have a lot of money ( I have to buy my T)

Moustache and under the lip still a little sparse, but I've been feeling much better about my progress lately! Been getting positive feedback about my facial hair from friends, and although still looking a little "teenager," I feel like it's improved over the line of "neckbeard" into actual beard.

I've been using 5% minoxidil for some time, and haven't really seen much progress. Other people have said they noticed a difference but I feel like it isn't enough for someone to notice on first glance. I'm pre-t and quite young (not like- child young) so those could be factors

I was wondering what brands helped other people out there? Maybe if there's something more effective? There's also Dr Dht which I kinda just heard about five minutes ago, so if someone has a good amount of information and thinks that'd be something useful I'd check it out. 5 years on T. Had only a weak chinstrap before starting.

I've been using liquid 5% minox twice a day since January. Sometimes once a day.

I also changed my HRT regimen this year and I feel like it's helping. But it could be a coincidence.
