Did some light off-roading today

Have Michelin Road 6's on and they did surprisingly well. Ride today was around 600 miles, of which about 60 miles were either gravel, sand or just rocky terrain. Helps to have good suspension too. These bikes rule.

How did Michelin 6s hold up? Im switching after since my GPR300s on my Fazer 800 are crap.

I love the Michelin's. They have amazing grip in dry or wet and I ride the bike pretty hard. I also like the feedback I get from the tires in the corners, on bumpy roads or whatever I'm doing. Since I'm in Canada and ride during colder temps, I also like that they seem to have very good grip when cold. I also had good experiences with the Road 5's and Pilot Road 4's, where each new model gets slightly better mileage. Some people find them expensive, but I buy them because they work great for me.

Who makes your side bags?

They are the Givi/Kappa E22's. I have bigger Givi cases for touring, but these are perfect for everyday riding as they aren't much wider than the handlebars. I also mount mine backwards, because I prefer how it looks on the FZ1.
