Voting for Kamala is worse. It's an active waste of a vote to vote for someone who was running to the right of Trump and thinking that it's a vote against fascism or for progressivism.
Can you explain what Kamala's position on the Genocide in Gaza, LGBTQ+ rights, or immigrants were when campaigning against Trump? Or did your brain switch to static the instance you saw (D) next to her name on the ballot?
If it were just the US it would be one thing. This president has been a scourge all over the world. Political discourse has deteriorated world-wide due to him. And we could not do anything against it because we were at the mercy of US voters.

But I’m saying how is voting for her more of a waste of a vote than voting for literally anyone else except trump? No one else ever had a chance to win against him and not voting for her ensured that he did win, no?
The problem with voting the lesser of two evils is that we are still voting for evil. We are effectively pushing off actual progression for the false promise of progression later. Republicans will continue to push to the right while the Democrats will only maintain the status quo, so things continue to shift into what we have now. I hate this administration, but if something good came out of this is that actual progressive candidates, like Mamdami, are now being popularized and elected as people are realizing just how terrible the Democrat leadership has been at addressing the growing concerns about fascism.
Everyone owns the consequences of their protests. Protestors for women's voting rights, labor rights, and civil rights sacrificed themselves, went to jail and sometimes lost their lives. 2024 non-voters sacrificed everyone else and still act like they're not responsible.
Kamala was attempting to run to the right of Trump. Kamala voters were very much willing to sacrifice Palestinians, immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community by voting for her. Maybe vote for a candidate that actually stands for progressive ideals instead of capitulating to a candidate trying to court the Nazi voterbase next time?

Yeah the majority just didn't turn up to vote. I reckon that's equally as bad.
