Discussion Finding Writing Groups

Hey all! I’m an aspiring author, been writing for years and finally feeling close to finishing a few first drafts. I’d love to get critiques for my work and give them in return.
Trying to network with authors and expand my network to editors and agents too.

I’m in the medical field by trade so I’m clueless when it comes to the business side of writing or how to find writing groups.

Any advice? Thanks in advance yall.

PS: I’m writing YA sci fi dystopia, fantasy, and thrillers if anyone would like to form a group too.

Try Destructive Readers… you have to critique first for the same length you’re after a critique of

I only heard of that sub last week but another one to join could be the /writing sub which does a monthly "Would you read this?" - newest one today, obviously again if you comment, there's an expectation you'll read a few excerpts others have submitted. Its random ordered, which I don't know if it helps or hinders notice.
