My impression..

✌️ Yeah my first impression I’ve been playing for 2weeks now and I wanted to say my opinion on it for now, am at the grand castle after we took the boat and fought number 3? Ig at dagger uncle? Sorry I don’t remember well especially I didn’t play much past few days… but I am loving it! Tbh I really didn’t find the artstyle appealing but I’m growing to like it🔥 hope I enjoy it more and I’ll be back later -lovely

It's one of the best games i ever played. I rate it near 10/10. Just take it easy and enjoy every scenery and element of it, and the cutscenes. It's damn well made. And do the chocographs as well, get those items, it takes 20-30 hours but, it's worth it. Find the secret boss. Don't rush the gameplay. The end battles will get your blood boiling ^^

Yeah I usually finish jrpgs fast but I’ve decided I’ll take my sweetest time with this one:) Yeah is there any party members like (Vincent or yuffie)? I’ve missed them in my playthrough don’t want that to happen again 🫩

No secret party characters on IX, but there's minor missable things along the way.

There's no missable party members in this game! There is one you can get earlier or later, but you'll encounter them pretty surely if you just visit every place.

Quina is in Qu's Marsh immediately after Lindblum. Optional content, you otherwise get them way on disc 2.

I actually didn't think about that. So quina just joins the team on disc 2? Never knew that...

You can put it off until you need to find Fossil Roo at which point you need Quina

I actually haven't played any ff game before 9. Only 9 and 10 i played. I consider 9 vastly superior to 10.

I’m also on my first playthrough. Also didn’t love the art style but am really loving the story! But if anyone hurts Vivi I’m gonna be so mad

The art work of 9 aged pretty poorly. I imagine the remaster is nicer looking though. It was the end of PSX release cycle, so they had to get creative and make sacrafices in order to still get it onto four CDs. Shoot, there are PS2 games, heck MOST PS2 games, were smaller in size than FF9.
