I'm looking to hire an assistant editor for a poker YouTube channel. The editing style will be similar to Wolfgang Poker, Sethy Poker, etc.

As the assistant editor, you'll be preparing footage to pass on to the main editor. The responsibilities are as follows:

1. Pull raw session footage (4K30 HEVC, recorded in ~45-minute chunks) and cut it down to the hands that matter, based on the timestamps we provide.
2. Apply our presets and motion graphics to the right moments in Adobe Premiere Pro: pause/VHS effects, pop-in word callouts, dealer announcement overlays, the poker board, etc.

• We do not want auto-subtitles. Captions are the main design element of the video
• Placement in the top third or bottom third, and getting creative beyond that
• Changing the fonts, colours, gradient, opacity, italics, bold and placement to keep the viewer engaged throughout the whole video
• Caption design around the objects in the B-rolls is vital
• Sound design behind the captions: swooshes and subtle sounds that turn normal captions into captions that get attention

Video style we cut to

• Fast cuts with almost no time in between sentences, unless it's an intentionally placed pause
• The first 3 seconds are the most important part of the video. The hook switches between two camera angles frequently and opens a curiosity hook
