Saving up for my first car

I got 2 cars on the top of my head, both reportedly unreliable af. Cls63s and Dodge Challenger
i’m on a grind to get one of these by Feb next year.
But having been a former benz owner I know how bad the maintenance could be, with the challenger well… yea

I know many here own these cars and I’d love to know if getting this is 9/10 money pool or taking care of these cars could last me a good amount of years.

The question will be not the purchase, but when something fails on the car outside warrenty, can you afford to fix it or wrench on it yourself. Expensive cars become expensive to maintain during their life.

I figured that, doesnt nevessarily mean they are high/low mileage or newer/older. I've bought preowned with 500 miles. Context matters, but both of these cars, the more miles, the more issues will come up.

till now many friends, here in the UAE have suggested me to go with the challenger, it’s the better daily driver.
maybe the CLS dream will have to wait :/

They're no longer making CLS so they'll just be that much older and used further in the future. Having said that, an AMG 63 is a silly car for your first lol

Wait, how can the challenger be a better daily driver? It's cheaply made with boatlike handling. The AMG is a car on a whole other level! And it comes with the running/maintenance costs to match
