Videography First wild squid

Sorry for the crappy video quality but I’ve been super excited to see cephalopods in the wild for the first time, even if it involved waking up at 5 AM in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Wild cephalopods are such underrated ocean encounters. Even with the rough video, you can clearly tell how otherworldly that silhouette looks gliding through the darkness.

Crappy quality or not, this is such a cool encounter. I’d be wide awake too if I spotted a cephalopod drifting through the darkness!

My thoughts exactly. I’ve always been fascinated by squids and octopuses and have wanted to see some in the wild.
