So, remember my last post about coming back to Fiverr after a very long break?

Well… I decided to actually test it instead of just asking Reddit and disappearing again. 😂

I updated my profile, created a new website-development gig, and basically left it alone.

2 days later:

👀 16 impressions
🖱️ 2 clicks
💰 0 orders

So technically Fiverr knows I exist.

Whether Fiverr actually wants to give me work is still under investigation. 💀

Here's the interesting part: the gig had basically 0 impressions for several days, then suddenly started getting impressions around Aug 29.

I'm not touching anything for now. No changing the title every 6 hours. No replacing the thumbnail because I got emotionally attached to it. 😂

I'm just going to let it run and see what happens.

For anyone who's revived an old Fiverr account after being inactive for a long time:

How long did it take before you started seeing meaningful impressions/orders?

And did you leave the gig alone, or did you keep tweaking it?

I'm going to keep documenting this little experiment and see whether this account actually has a second life… or whether Fiverr is just giving me false hope. 😂

I'm hoping someone here has advice, because I'm stuck.

I created a Fiverr account to offer academic editing and research consulting services (I'm a PhD researcher with several peer-reviewed publications). Before I ever completed or delivered a single order, my account was permanently suspended, citing a vague "not in line with quality standards" reason.

Since I had zero client interactions, there's no way a "quality" complaint could have triggered this — there was no delivered work to complain about.

I've submitted three support tickets over the past week (#14746407, #14758343, #14762586), and each time I get the exact same generic template response, copy-pasted word for word, without any explanation of what specific content or activity supposedly violated their standards.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is there any way to actually get a human to review these cases, or is this just how Fiverr handles suspension appeals, automated templates on repeat?

Any advice on escalation paths that actually work would be appreciated.

So… I decided to come back to Fiverr and start taking website projects again.

I used to work on Fiverr before, then life happened, work happened, motivation disappeared… and eventually my Fiverr account basically went into retirement. 😂

Now I'm back with a custom website gig.

And I'm sitting here wondering:

Does Fiverr say “welcome back” or “who the hell are you?” 💀

I know the usual advice — optimize the gig, use a good thumbnail, pick the right keywords, stay active, get orders, get reviews, sacrifice a small goat to the algorithm…

But I'm actually curious about people who have revived an old Fiverr account after being inactive for a long time.

Did your impressions eventually come back?

Did you start getting orders again?

Or did Fiverr basically make you rebuild everything from zero?

I'm planning to consistently work on it again, so let's see what happens.

Has anyone ever received a message like this on Fiverr? A buyer said they used Mira, Fiverr's new AI headhunter, to generate a job description PDF and sent it straight to my inbox

Newish seller here (Excel/data category — formula fixing, automation, PDF-to-Excel conversion) And Merge. Wanted to sanity-check my numbers against people who've actually broken through, because I genuinely can't tell if I'm just early or doing something wrong.

Current state:

- 4 active gigs, all published with full descriptions, galleries, and pricing tiers

- 180 impressions/month combined, ~15% CTR (so people are clicking)

- 0 orders, 0 messages from REAL buyer

I respond within the hour to anything that comes in (nothing has, yet), I've researched keyword competition before publishing each gig, and I'm not spamming other subs or DMing people — just been publishing, waiting, and refining. I'm very aware that my area is very saturated to start with so..

questions for anyone who's been through this stretch:

1. Is 0 orders after this many impressions/clicks normal for a brand-new account, or is CTR-without-conversion usually a pricing/trust-signal problem?

2. Did switching from a broad title to a more specific one actually move the needle for anyone, or is that a myth?

3. How long did it realistically take your first order to land, and what changed right before it did?

Not looking for someone to review my exact gigs unless you want to — mostly trying to figure out if "keep waiting" is actually the right call or if I'm missing something obvious that experienced sellers just know.
