Can anyone tell me who played with them if anyone? What venue this was? And what this patch is from?I know it probably shouldn’t be on my vest if I’m not 100% sure but this was my first ever vest.

The first time we played with the full lineup at a big event, it was a viking event, we played with folk metal bands like Crisaor and Narn, famous folk metal bands here in Brazil.

It was also the band's 1st anniversary, with lots of beer and mead

There's some folk punk in this month's column.

So got into a discussion with a band mate recently because I was thinking about adding John Brown's Body to a set list. I thought it would be fun to be in that Pete Seeger tradition and I figured we could get the audience to join in on the chorus. She said that the religious elements would put folks off in the folk punk scene.

I know we could just play Solidarity Forever, but I wanted y'all's thoughts. Do religious elements in older songs put you off? Should they still be played and talked about in the folk punk scene? Should we re-write the lyrics to keep the historical bits and secularize the chorus?
