I'm just curious where 20s & 30s singles are meeting people. I've noticed the singles groups I've joined are mostly people who are 40s, 50s, and beyond. I am in my early 30s and could pass for being in my late teens or early 20s. And no I'm not necessarily against dating or hanging out with people 10+ years older but I just feel a bit out of place.

i really need your help and insights. i have this 2015 hyundai elantra at 122K and just got the oil change done on last tuesday, took the car home at home and drove later that day, all normal. then on friday, i started the car and put it into D but car doesnt move. Engine revs up but doesnt move. I changed it to Reverse and all fine, it can back up, looks normal. Change it to Drive, again no move. I did try couple times with turn off and turn on cycles, after 1-2 try, it started moving and drove fine that day. Then, next day, now i am again facing the same issue.

seems like transmission issue and now i need suggestion where to take this car? anyone has any suggestion for such transmission problem fix?

Hi! I’m really new to the whole TTRPG/tabletop world and I’m hoping some people around Folsom might be able to give me some advice!

I’ve known about Dread for a little while, but I really started getting into it and learning about it this week. I’ve watched all of the Smosh Dread videos and I’ve been watching George Primavera’s games, and I absolutely love them. I’ve never actually played a tabletop RPG before, but now I’m really really interested in trying it.

The problem is I don’t really know where to start or how people even find groups for this kind of thing 😬I don’t really have friends who are into TTRPGs, so I figured I’d ask here since I’m pretty close to Folsom.

I’m in my 20s and female, and I’d love to meet some people who are into this stuff and hopefully make some friends too. I’m definitely open to joining an existing group, meeting other people who are new and want to learn together, or finding someone who’s experienced and wouldn’t mind helping a complete beginner figure things out.

I’d especially love to play Dread, but I’m also open to learning about other TTRPGs! Dread just really caught my attention because I’m super into horror and storytelling.

I’ve even started coming up with a scenario idea that I’d love to eventually turn into a Dread game. I’m really into SCP Foundation-type stuff, experiments/containment facilities, the Backrooms, and that kind of horror where you slowly realize something has gone VERY wrong. I definitely don’t want to GM my first game, though😭. I’d want to actually play first and learn how everything works before I even think about running something myself.

So basically, I’m just wondering if anyone around the Folsom area knows of any local groups, game stores, events, Discords, or anything else that would be good for someone completely new to this.

Also if you’re new and have been wanting to get into TTRPGs but don’t really have anyone to play with, I’d love to hear from you too! Maybe there are other people in the same boat and we can figure it out together.

Hello Folsom! I would really love some help. I live in Chico a whole 86 miles away but there’s this sign I’m in love with from Micheal’s that I had at my business that broke today and the only one left is at the Micheal’s in Folsom. It won’t let me buy it online 😭 I’m devastated and totally willing to pay for the help, i know it’s silly but I loved it so much and it really helped with the vibe!
