400 Hp that you can easily get 500hp plus out of with a custom tune under $1,000 that you can easily install.

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer 4x4. It's been a wonderful, reliable vehicle and still is! Before, I was used to driving fast cars. Ford Explorer's are very reliable vehicles.

Just Save Up For The Repairs If You Plan On Keeping Past Your Warranty. I bought my wife years back a 2018 Limited brand new & at 100k miles I had to put 14k into it. The when the politicians past all those new emissions laws in 2021-2022 pushing for all electric these manufacturers had to drop all these tiny engines in them with Turbos to still get the horsepower up & gas mileage down. I definitely had to go with the 2026 Toyota 4runner Platinum in Hertiage Blue straight from Japan as sad as it is. I couldn't gamble on another Ford in 2026 especially with their complicating engine & turbo designs. They have more recalls from poor design than all of the other American car manufacturers. But Ford does have the best interior technology for the price. I hope you got one that doesn't have any problems & you get to enjoy it for many years to come 👍!!!! Goodluck & if I did go with another Explorer it would be something like the one you got, that's a sharp looking blk on blk Explorer!!!! Do yourself a big favor & stick to the oem oil filters they cost the same as any decent aftermarket filter or cheaper from Wal-Mart & a top tier synthetic oil like Mobile 1 ESP or Valvoline Max Life with Dextros for the cleaning additives & never go over 5k miles like the dealer tells you with any vehicle with Turbos that goes for all brands makes & models. That 10k miles crap is just to save them money on their warranties & to wear your engine & Turbos out faster! It really will save you a bunch of early problems that pop up after 50 to 75k miles. If your a single women except on scheduled oil changes covered under your warranty with tire rotation stay away from dealerships for simple 5k oil changes. They clean women's checking account out with their Mumbo Jumbo telling you you need this that & the third! Buy the oil & filters from Walmart & take it to a small oil change place that isn't going to charge you the same as a conventional oil change when you provided your own premium oil & Motorcrft oil filter. You shouldn't have to pay more than $25 to $35 max for a basic oil change when providing your own stuff to put in your vehicle. Make sure Ford rotates your tires every Warranty oil change by taking a fine white oil based sharpie & mark one front tire & one rear tire in between the tread where you know where to identify it again & make sure which ever 2 tires your marked are on opposite sides of the vehicle before you leave.... It's gotten that bad with these new younger technicians & service writers unfortunately!!!!!

So that new Four Runner has a 2.4 turbo that has more than it's share of issues. So good luck when it hits 75K if it even makes that far

You did well. I paid about that or a little more with extended warranty and GAP. We have the 26 ST in dark red. We had a black Platinum, but my wife told me she really wanted red. Ours is a 4WD with moon roof and massaging seats. I haven’t actually figured all this stuff out yet. I’m still thinking about a performance chip.
