ANDROID BUG I’m frustrated

I have listened and have tried everything to fix the bug for android but, it’s still force closing where now I can’t even play a full game.

Is Fortnite going to even fix this? I really wanted to play this season.

Yup it sucks man. They dropped one little patch update. .didn't change a thing...depending on the time of day. I might get 50 % matches completed without crash. Just make sure you log back in. And report bug immediately after crash. Report, bug, other. Maybe if we swamp them with bug reports they might care about paying customers after we were playing perfectly until they screwed everything up with this update.

I send support ticket explained the situation mentioning the Snapdragon 888 processor, and their only response was to send me the link to the game's Android requirements... not a helpful answer tbh

I have the same phone and the same thing happens to me, although if I play Recharge or Blitz, it's just a matter of time before the app closes.

Just leave dude the only way epic is gonna realize the issue is if players start leaving, can’t expect a dogshit greedy company to do anything unless it hurts their business.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to play this season; it's a disaster right now—the bugs aren't just on mobile, but on other platforms too. I might take a break from the game.

Apps normally force close or "crash" when they trigger the ram threshold limit. Normally at 80% ram flush kicks in killing background apps to try to stay under that 80% limit, but if youre running a demanding app like a game that can spike your ram useage up dramatically at any time, for instance pushing your total device ram useage to over 90% Android will kill the foreground app. Google has announced for Android 17 they're working on releasing a feature that reduces ram useage for apps dramatically (probably mostly incentivized for they Ai crap to constantly run without issues, I digress still a useful feature for mid to low ram devices) currently unknown in what Android 17 version this feature is coming out in. For now I recommend using an app that force kills apps before opening Fortnite this will flush out the used ram and free up cpu useage so Fortnite will probably run slightly better as a result as well. For a force closed background app to be legit and actually doing what's intended it must be shizuku powered due to api restrictions for 3rd party apps set by Google

Do you happen to be on an SD888, SD778G or SD720G device?
