I'm hoping for a remaster

Ive seen people quick to promote the new dns and disregard the previous one, calling it sketchy etc, and it's really not helping what's left of the game. Anyone who's on the old one can still load into lobbies with people on the new one, but it will freeze the lobby once the match tries to start no matter what. This completely makes matches unplayable.

Everyone is put off because of the whitelist, yet Its what's protecting the game from ddos attacks & server crashes, or any malicious online attacks from happening. The entire reason it was made that way, was so that if someone tries something malicious, they can pinpoint where its coming from and revoke said persons access of the server. Something the new one doesn't do, so the new one is literally an open invitation to hackers.

I understand you guys want to do the easiest method possible, but youre worried about "sketchy issues" from the whitelist when the new one has zero protection of what the whitelist was made for in the first place. The whitelist has been a thing for what, a year now? And nobody including myself has come out and stated that the whitelist has affected them or their ip, wifi, whatever in a negative way. Its obvious it's safe otherwise we would've heard something from someone by now. You guys aren't trusting something simply because you don't understand how it works.

Me and a couple of other console players wanted to know if there was a way to get past this I missed this game and been trying to get back into it with a new group

I don't really know much about the whole DNS thing, my brother liked playing this game when it was still around but mostly just played with bots because he doesn't really like playing online. I know you can play the game offline still but you can only use like two Jasons from my understanding. I heard that you can connect to like some private server (again I don't know much about this sorry) but I was wondering if you can connect to that server and then use the other Jasons while playing against bots. Sorry if this has been asked before I couldn't find anything even though I searched

I have a question: can I still play Friday the 13th with the DNS changed? I did it before when they shut it down, but now I don't know if they've changed it or something.

Ive been killed as Jason more in CFG than I have in the entirety of the base game lifecycle. He is an actual joke and rage does nothing. It is so easy that counselors don’t need to communicate. Just beat him up till his mask comes off, call Tommy and have someone sacrifice themselves, then grab the sweater and it’s GGs.

No one has fun when every match has people doing the same thing.

Entirely because my broke ass can't get CFG and I love the new themes in CFG.
