Yeah, she got ran over by a car when she was 4 weeks old unfortunately. :( She was found all alone meowing under a bush. Thankfully the nerve damage in her hind legs could be fixed and her tail healed perfectly as well.

Two of my cats have too short tails. Both were over-groomed by too young mothers, each of whom was sick while pregnant. Sometimes very young moms don’t know they are grooming a tail when they think they are grooming off the umbilical. I think being sick just made them more confused.

Peach's coloring is just stunning, she looks like a little sunset with all those warm tones. That fluffy tail is a great counterbalance to her broad face, makes her even cuter.
