Frugal Find Instructions unclear. I almost took the chair and left the cushion.
I was in it for the 1950's cold war bomb proof steel monument of a chair.

Ask /r/frugal_jerk Am I the only brave soul on Earth who shops at thrift stores? Is it normal, or will my future spouse divorce me???
I know this is a wildly controversial hot take for a sub dedicated to saving money... but hear me out! - buying second-hand items is actually cheaper than buying them new!!!
I have completely banished the fatcat luxury malls from my existence. Instead, I expend 8,000 precious calories a day taking pilgrimage to the sacred, dust-filled mecca of Goodwill. I do not even buying anything, just absorb the ambient skin flakes of previous owners into my lungs for free nutrients.
But guys… I am terrified. Is this strange?
To those of you who somehow convinced a partner to love you... how did you break the news that your shirt previously touched another human body? Did they weep?? Did they file a restraining order?? Have you ARRESTED???
I know mainstream society views wearing a pre-owned cotton blend as a shameful mark of utter, destitute poverty punishable by exile... but I am living this rogue "lifestyle" anyway. I’ve met fatcat women in the wild who buy clothes brand new at full retail price (🤢), and frankly, I think they’re just terrified of looking like they live on a diet of single lentils.
Meanwhile, *I* am out here braving total social ostracization, one $0.50 faded 2012 H&M tee at a time. ✊😔
Brothers and sisters, I shall keep up the good fight!
(P.S. Also… household goods… thrift store!! I know, I know. Your minds are blown 😏 but you can actually buy a dead person's used wooden spoon instead of carving one out of a fallen branch. You. are. welcome.)
Edit: Typing this post cost me 4 calories, I will now be sleeping for three weeks to recover.

men, how do yall sneak drinks and snacks onto the theater?
has anyone tried just walking in with their food? supposedly they dont care anymore. but i dont wanna risk getting stopped with food in front of everyone.
if you know of a theater that doesnt care, what chain is it?
also, has anyone tried bringing in a backpack?
