Mamas Rodrigues and Collins have both been in the magazine at some point. The testimony of the multiple severe miscarriages (after nine babies in nine years) appeared in the publication.

I'm all for women choosing motherhood and homemaking as their vocation if that's their heart's desire, and having the support and camaraderie of other mamas who are about that life.

When I first glanced at Above Rubies years ago, I thought "How nice. A magazine for Christian homemakers. Must be refreshing to be validated when you're in a society that measures human worth by income." I didn't look into it further.

I didn't realize at the time how staunchly they insist that their way of life is mandatory for everyone.

They really don't want women to have any other option.

Megs has paronychia. She went to urgent care and they couldn’t drain it. They were going to prescribe antibiotics, but because Megs is shockingly ignorant, she thinks oral antibiotics aren’t appropriate, only topical. So she had someone lance it and use topical antibiotics. Don’t worry, that will prevent serious infections!

Don’t get me wrong, she’ll probably be fine. Because these things usually ARE fine. But opening an abscess can be risky. If the professionals at urgent care didn’t feel like they could safely open it, maybe leave it alone. Breaking the skin gives bacteria another place to get in. Topical antibiotics have limited use, especially when you have a known infection. Unless she’s squirting the antibiotics directly into the open wound, they aren’t going to do much.

Kaylee Wilson is the woman who put bags of flour on her adopted Nigerian daughters' heads and told them balancing them on their heads was "in their blood". Her new baby (whose unmedicated free-birth was milked to the max, youtube "documentary" included) is actually called Arrow Courage, which manages to combine TWO of the Collins' boy's names (Arrow Chosen and Armor Courage). Certainly a choice.

Context: They recycled Lex’s IG account for the maine coon page. Now the cat page has been scrapped, renamed to a different username under Lex and the website is gone.

Her original IG account was all about “biblical womanhood”. Then she started selling merch, handmade soaps and tea. She also promoted Monat at one point then deleted all of her posts after she quit promoting it but was still posting random IG stories like how she “stays strapped”. She then went private altogether, claiming it was because god was calling her to stop posting online and to prioritize serving her home and family.
Then came the cat page: She reused/renamed her old account and bought a verification check. She shared that she was back online to pursue this cattery business because this was such a ✨dream✨ of hers after Tyson bought her a maine coon and she felt that she could do it. AI designs aside, the cat page wasn’t very professionally run and she would post unrelated IG stories. A few weeks ago she cleared all cat content and went private, now the account has a new name.

When fundies collide. Lori would never listen to Tyson James or Bryson.

God doesn't heal everyone. He doesn't deny healing due to lack of faith. My dad had more faith than most people I know and M.S. symptoms still caused him to pass away.

Has anyone come across this creator? She posts about her 13 kids, how they used to live in an RV, homeschools, sells Plexus, buys raw milk,...is she trying to be a Jill Rodriguez ?

I haven't read the book and don't know what all it's about, but it's wild that the "empathy for illegal immigration" was a reason she hated it. Are her ancestors all indigenous to the Americas??
