Hey, does anybody know of a professor for an online POLS 1101 class who doesn’t assign a lot of homework or reading?
I’m taking the class right now, but my professor gives us a LOT of reading and homework. We also have quizzes that are worth around 35% of our grade. I’m honestly thinking about withdrawing from the class and taking it next year instead, since I’m taking calculus and chemistry rn
Any professor recommendations would be appreciated!

This is my second time seeing him the first time I was late to class and he was walking to L parking lot with his friends his personality was so attractive. It’s like very hyper then I saw him again on Friday and he was in the hallway chatting with his friend, and he was just as cute as his personality with his red shirt, black shorts, and nice black tennis shoes but it’s nerve-racking asking him for his contact information in front of a ton of people even though I want to do it what should I do? 😭 (I think this relates to GGC rules 💀)

Did anyone here who has taken ITEC 1001 know of a book or any resources I can use to study for it? I’m planning to take the ITEC 1001 placement exam. I know what topics will be tested, but I’m not really sure where I should study for them.

I feel stupid for asking this but where do you guys park if you have classes in the C/W buildings? I keep parking in the garage but it’s too far of a walk and anywhere else I tried I couldn’t find a parking spot 🫩 my first class is in the middle of the day so all the parkings are way more packed around that time. hello! next school year I’d really like to find an apartment near the school because i’m really tired of the commute and driving, I wanted to know how do people go about finding roommate for off campus housing at ggc?

So chem2 is ridiculously hard and my advisor told me that a 60 or above in chem2 is not considered failing/not preventing you from graduating and I was wondering if this is true because I don't want to risk the chance.

hi everyone, i was just wondering when is the least busy time for the parking lot during the week. i am a nervous wreck about parking so i don’t mind coming in earlier than what my classes require; i could use the extra time to study on campus anyway. thank you for your time!

I went to GGC for three semesters 2023-2024. I then transferred to GSU which I didnt really like so i only did around two semesters there and took a semester break. I attempted to come back this year. I applied right on the deadline and got accepted the day before classes started. I got my classes on tuesday and already applied to financial aid months ago. Yesterday I figure out on my own that I was labled out of state and had an balance due. called and they send I can put in a request but if its not zero by the end of the day i would be dropped. I was also told i was supposed to recive an email before hand of such which I did not receive until today. I put in a request and did not pay due to it being too large of an amount and at 6:28 today I was dropped from my classes. The pursement of higher education in this country is tough.

I know this course is mandatory but I was thinking about dropping it and taking it next semester. The semester just started and we already have a quiz on chapter 1 monday and I feel pretty unprepared since we don’t take any notes and all we do is the Mac Graw assignments. Did anyone have the same experience with this class?

Tuition is due and im like $350 short and its due tmw. Do we know if I could still pay out of pocket and I just pay late cus otherwise im screwed asf. And just putting it out there, any donations help

I’m currently a junior at GGC and the past, like, 2 semesters that I’ve been here I feel like there is literally no professors available to teach and classes needed to finish the degree are super limited. I’m an accounting major and for fall, there’s only ONE professor and one section of an upper level accounting course that’s needed. I don’t wanna come on here to complain, but I also wanna know if anyone else has also had this frustration/issue when looking for classes or if it’s just the lack of accounting professors?

Are there any LGBTQ people here? There used to be a club, but it’s no longer active, which is unfortunate, but dang, it seems like I’m the only one here. 😭
