What would you guys value this at? Reposting with more pictures, has 109,000 miles, 4x4, slight surface rust here and there, a few dents and dings. 350 motor. Selling in Colorado

Hey all as title says anyone else walk out to their 400 and just are taken back by it as how kool, the comfort, knowledge of knowing you can work on it, the knowing that it’s your ride and don’t have a payment and all the other things that make you feel just plan happy that your driving what you’re driving?

I get this feeling about 90% of the time it comes into my line of sight. 🍻

I’m trying to change to transmission filter and fluid by dropping the pan on my 95 suburban c1500 5.7l. I’ve done this before on different cars but this one’s got me stumped. There is a cross member covering the rear pan bolts and I can’t seem to be able to move it enough to get to them. I removed the 4 bolts attaching to cross member to the frame and one center nut that apparently is attached to the coupler to the drive shaft. I can get the crossmember to rotate just enough to get to the left and right pan bolts but not to the center ones. Anyone else ever changed the filter on these trucks

I am currently working on a 92 Blazer 1500, and I am in love with this head unit design, but I also love the modern amenities of Bluetooth. I drew up this concept of what I want my eventual goal to be. I know that it will be very involved and difficult.

I will probably use an esp 32, or a similar microcontroller, to control it all, use a hidden Bluetooth receiver and controller for the audio, but I think it will be worth it.

1990 C1500 and second owner (after grandpa)

Hi everyone, just wondering on some opinions on what you think my truck is worth? I just bought an LML and sadly I never drive this truck so it’s time to part ways. It a 1996 gmc sierra C1500. It has a 5.3 swapped into it and the factory 4l60e. The truck is in pretty good shape rust wise being in central Wisconsin, but it still has some bubbling in some areas. The truck is a running and driving project but you could hop in it and drive it home, just needs some odds and ends like eventual tuning to get it perfect. I was asking $7500 assuming I’ll there will be some negation on price. The 5.3 probably has 2,000 miles on it since I rebuilt and resealed it and its bone stock. Am I asking too much for a 2wd truck?

Found the Return line on the '93 TBI C2500 (5.7) had a bad crimp i it, I think it's the reason I cant track down a cause for High Idle, Bad Fuel Consumption, Hard Shifting, etc, etc.

I think the Fuel Pressure Regulator is being overwhelmed and the Injectors are spraying way too much fuel down the pipe.

Went to Inline Pipe and ordered this:

Original 5.7, salvage trans.

She is a ‘99 4x4 k1500 LT. 94.5k miles (will go up). 2 owner, spent its life in VA then NC.

Good: Starts and drives great Fresh oil change Newer A/T tires All new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor in the last 6mos.

Cons: Very slow oil leakage Auto locks need to be replaced I believe A/C is a little weak, needs a recharge just hadn’t got to it Rearview mirror needs to be reglued into place, and headliner could stand to be redone.

I have it listed on FB for $7400 currently accepting offers. I would love to see this go to someone who wants to keep these old beasts alive, just want to spread the word! Local to NC.

My project

the ride quality on my one ton sucks. im thinking about getting new shocks. I mostly do highway driving but sometimes take it up into the mountains and over dirt roads, but nothing too crazy. the washboard on some of those roads feels awful, i have to come to a crawl anytime it gets rough. what would you guys recommend? ive gone with ranchos on my old Isuzu trooper, and those were nice.

im working with what I have, I know a one ton isnt supposed to be super comfortable.

96 Tahoe LT 4WD. It's got some issues. The brakes feel like someone replaced the pads and shoes with greased jello, the u bolts are about to snap, the hvac mode door is inop, and for some reason the fuel gauge goes up when you press the gas and pegs at 0 when you apply the brake. That fuel gauge issue does it whether you're in park or not.

Have a dent in my dower door that seems like I might be able to just push it back the other way

Anyone know where the best gril like this one in the photo, I have found like 10 options and I dont wanna buy a crap one, and 2 anyone know where I can get them side markers at?

Picture for reference. Was trying to find more information on this to be sure. Just put in new intake manifold gaskets and refurbished intake, But my new thermostat and all the other options I seen in store for my K1500 come with no rubber seal around the thermostat like how they used too. Do I just put gasket maker around the thermostat or should I get one off of maybe Amazon if anyone has a link to one that comes with the rubber seal? Also, if anyone knows how much coolant stays in your block after you drain the radiator since I was about to start refilling and putting in my oil but then these questions started popping up in my mind.

Just finished intake gasket 1993 5.7 suburban. Upon test start the engine ran rough for a second or two then mostly settled down (as i expected). However I noticed that BOTH headpipe flanges had a fluid coming out of them. I haven’t crawled under yet to check on the driver side (the worse side, left a 2 inch puddle) but it looks coolant-heavy. This is my first wet intake gasket I’ve done (also done a 93 vette) Did I dump coolant down the ports or something when removing the manifold? I think it’s highly unlikely I blew both head gaskets at the same time especially since it’s only the flanges where fluid could pool. I could’ve mis-seated some of the intake gasket (I may have a small vacuum leak, but that shouldn’t explain dropping fluid everywhere immediately). The truck has ran a total of 90 seconds since replacement.

My ‘88 with a 4.3L looks like it needs a new front main. Wifey says let a mechanic do it.

Can you give me (for my wife) a ballpark of what the cost could be?

1989 GMC K2500 manual transmission I bought off a farmer
Trying to clean it up getting a lot of oil underneath.
I think on the bell housing for the manual transmission there is a hole than might be a weep hole but also could be a crack. I don’t have another one to compare with. Anyone know? I already figure I need to replace some seals.

My daughter decided to clean up the old truck. I think she did a good job
