Anyone else kind of surprised how little views the Extended Look got?

Its all over social media and everyone is talking about it but across Netflix and YouTube combined its only ~50-60M views. Thats a fraction of the ~200M and ~300M views the first 2 trailers got. Everyone was saying how since it was on netflix it would find a much larger audience but it doesnt appear that way. And the hype definitely hasn't died down , if anything its increased after this extended look . Anyone know why the views are low?

Lots of people watched it on kick, twitch, youtube streams, instagram, x, tiktok. I am sure actual numbers are above 100M

I would imagine most people are viewing it through clips, streams, etc. in this day and age. No attention span for a full 26 min video lol

Good point , only the more dedicated fans would watch half an hour of gameplay

Also there's literally hundreds of reaction videos with people adding commentary or pointing out the 200 things you missed so not everybody needs to have watched the full thing.

The trailer is just that, a sub-3 minute trailer. The extended look is amazing but it's nearly 10x the duration, it was never going to get the same numbers as people's dedication to it is less

Not only that, but nothing is ever enough for some people. For example, thinking 60 MILLION is a low number

Twitch was lagging a lot, I would like to know the total number of concurrent views during the extended look hours

It was around 1.2-1.8 million of I remember correctly before twitch died. Though the last number i saw was 1.8 million, could’ve went up but I didn’t check anymore

No it got a ton of views in total across all platforms. And tapped into a vast market of people who didn't even know this game was releasing until they saw it advertised on their Netflix home screen.

You're comparing the views to something that's been out for less than a week to two things that have been out for over a year...
