Finding a ring world

Ok, so what am I doing wrong? In so many games I simply dont discover my civ ruining ring world.

Is there a tech I need to then uncover it in an anomaly?

Whats the process?????

idk but the games kinda lame and just gives me one every so often I think its related to anomaly research but really I wish I could just glass the damn thing for how much it feels like a participation trophy sometimes.

First game i played(and only game i am still playing), i colonized a ring world planet. Dont know how rare or not rare they are just thought i would let you know
