As everyone here knows by this point I have owned the A11+ and S10 Lite and have discussed them at length. What HAS changed is I have been using an S10 FE 8GB/128GB that I borrowed from one of my employees.
So let's get started..
The A11+ & S10 Lite are the 6GB/128GB versions and the S10 FE 8GB/128GB
The S10 FE is a lovely tablet for what it is and has a very nice LCD display and performance is pretty much what I expected.
Yes apps open nice and fast and everything is smooth and there's no issue with multitasking or reading, note taking or watching videos.
I tested the following apps on each:
MX Player
Comic Screen
Facebook
Lumii Photo Editor
Probably the one thing I DID notice is multitasking is much more enjoyable on the S10 FE and A11+ than it is on the S10 Lite. What really sets these two apart from the S10 Lite is how smooth and effortless it feels to multitask on the S10 FE and A11+ both do it VERY smoothly, yet the S10 Lite feels like it is using brute force or pushing to multitask and it doesn't feel quite as smooth or seamless like one would expect of a tablet in 2026.
When it comes to running one app at a time (no multitasking) apps open nice fast in the S10 FE and obviously faster than the A11+ & S10 Lite which is to be expected.
Photo editing was a breeze on all of them and I just did the basic photo cropping and adjustment of colors along with removing/replacing the background in an typic picture, nothing too fancy.
Watching movies using MX Player and testing Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home 1080p MKV file from the SD card on each tablet was pleasant on all and since the A11+ & S10 Lite displays are almost the same quality I didn't notice any difference in video quality sound was of equal quality although slightly louder on the A11+. The S10 FE has a better better display than both and the colors seemed a little richer and the blacks are a tiny bit darker. Sound quality was about the same, maybe a bit fuller like it seemed more immersive (I really don't know how to describe it properly so please forgive me).
Reading Manga on all three is quite nice although I did notice you have to adjust the blue light filter on each a little differently to get the best view while reducing eye strain. I think the subtle differences in the displays of each tablet is what required the fine tuning as I was reading the same manga on each. So the experience is quite in this regard.
Facebook ran flawlessly on all three and there wasn't any noticeable differences.
I didn't test any games as I don't game on tablets, yet I presume the S10 FE would provide the best gaming experience simply due to better processor and more RAM.
So in summary the performance was pretty much as expected.
The S10 FE & A11+ feel like very modern tablets for 2025/26 at their respective performance levels. The S10 Lite feels like a tablet from 2023/24, yet just didn't have that modern smoothness as one would expect (which makes sense as it's essentially the S9 FE with a few minor changes)
What really DID surprise me was I was expecting more of a performance gap in favor of the S10 FE and A11+ as the S10 FE is like 30% faster, yet felt closer to 25% faster just doing the normal tasks pretty much everyone does.. Yet the performance gap was much more evident between the S10 FE & S10 Lite and I think it's just because the S10 FE feels much smoother....
At the end of the day they are very good tablets for what they are and I honestly doubt tablets from other companies offering the same level of performance can offer as premium experience simply because Samsung offers the best software experience of any Android based tablet maker.
I want to thank everyone in advance who takes the time to read this and hopefully it all makes sense. 😄
