But there seems to be a common theme with a lot of these fundraisers being (what seems to be) intentionally vague, and I know I have seen reports about Isr*eli bots and fake accounts being used to siphon funds away from those who actually need it

I ask if there are any ways we can tell if a campaign is legitimate? I am seeing campaigns that say "since before the war" when referring to relatively young individuals, which is something I have seen Zionists use as a talking point (considering that the war is not a recent development) alongside the other vague talking points. I understand not everyone's private lives need to be posted online, but verifying whether or not the money is going towards the occupier or those who need it is very important.

Some of the links I am seeing are also asking or implying a specific amount to be donated, which sets off alarm bells in my head.

From other reports I have read, I have seen that the Red Cross is complicit in cooperating with the occupation forces, does this include the Red Crescent as well? I know that there are numerous reports of the IOF intentionally striking aid targets, but I just want to know what foundations are safe to donate to, where the funds will truly reach someone in need.

Furthermore, if anyone has any signs they look out for in regards to verifying that an individual campaign is legitimate, that would be great.

Tldr; I want to help, but I am afraid of my money going towards those who harm Palestinians and others affected by illegal occupation and war crimes. Are there campaign websites that are guaranteed safe to donate through? Or should you only look towards official organizations, and which ones?

I need help with a situation that's been weighing on me for the past couple of weeks. I feel very alone through all of this and just need advice as to what the best course of action is. There is more to this I just didn't want to write more than I already did, so please feel free to ask if there is any confusion.

I have been in contact with a family in Gaza who I have been helping to raise funds for for a little over a year now. I was put in contact with one member of the family after a community member asked if I would be able to help with receiving and sending any funds for a campaign for this family. I agreed, because I have experience managing campaigns for two families and I trusted the person who had asked. I was put in contact with the family member and another person who had been raising funds for the family through PayPal for a few months prior to them creating this campaign.

The other piece of this is that the family has asked to remain anonymous and not have any personal info posted online. I was also unaware of this until I was asked to start posting videos for the campaign. The family member who created the campaign initially used an AI photo and has, to this day, refused any suggestions like using censored photos of family members or just photos of their surroundings or daily life. I have seen this person's ID and have received live photos and videos of their life and surroundings before, so I'm not concerned that they are dishonest about who or where they are. However, usage of AI for something where money is involved hurts people's credibility and I told them so, just for them to repeatedly refuse any suggestions I had for improving the campaign while still maintaining anonymity. After a few months of posting, messaging, and trying to raise funds, I became overwhelmed and was online a lot less.

We had on and off contact for a little while, but they recently contacted me again telling me to either update the old campaign or open a new one for medical treatments and other various needs, and sent me photos of medical bills and forms that I could post. I initially agreed because everything seemed legit, but the more we've been talking, the less I feel capable and equipped to handle this situation in any way, and the more I've started to feel like some of their claims may have been misrepresented. The asks are often vague and for unspecific amounts of money with little to no indication of exactly what it is for, outside of medical treatment for one member of the family.

I am an unemployed college student who has spent a majority of my funds donating to family fundraisers/mutual aid projects and it's become unsustainable. I have sent over $400 to this family and have spent even more to cover bank transfer fees. Literally all donations this year have been mine and I've even been sparing because I knew I would have to save an extra $45 to cover each wire transfer fee. I have sort of been made to feel like this family's lifeline and like I'm responsible for the welfare of everyone, and it's been making me incredibly anxious to the point where I often avoid checking my phone or talking to anyone outside of this person.

They message me often and have sent follow up messages asking where I am, asking why I'm not responding quickly, or attempted to call me when I do not respond quick enough and it's become overwhelming and way too much to handle all alone. They don't really respect boundaries or me saying that I'm busy or unable to talk and have accused me of not wanting to help. They expect me to drop everything I'm doing and interrupt my schedule to talk to them, post the campaign, etc. and have become upset when I've expressed that that's not reasonable.

I feel like I am terrible at this. I've asked others for help repeatedly just to be ignored or for people to say they'd do something and then not follow through. I had actually asked people if they, or anyone they knew could take over managing the fundraiser just for nothing to come of that. At this point I don't think I can help them, we have had a lot of misunderstandings and they constantly seem frustrated and upset with me even though I'm doing what I can to help. I just never know what to do and have barely any sense of what might be helpful outside of sending money, which I am not able to do. I really wanted to be able to help but the more time has past I've realized that I won't be of any help and I don't want to do more harm than good for someone. I am tired of not being respected and being constantly messaged when I'm at school or work and not responding because of it.

I just feel horrible because I already said I could help. I don't feel like I can say no and I've been convinced to come back and help after trying to say I can't do it multiple times. I'm not a confrontational person at all and am afraid that if I try to draw boundaries I will just be inundated with messages begging me to reconsider and I'll once again feel pressured into attempting way more than I am capable of. I understand that people are desperate and get pushy and might be doing this to other people but it's gotten to be way too much to deal with and I am in no position to help anyone right now when I can barely help myself. I don't want to burden someone experiencing what they are with my issues which is why I've not said anything.

I just really need some help with this situation. Any advice or offers to help are much appreciated.

Fiverr actively leveraged its corporate infrastructure financing and physically housing the "Lev Echad" wartime network inside its own Tel Aviv headquarters. According to primary defense and corporate watchdog indexes, this massive logistical operation mobilized tens of thousands of zionists to package and dispatch critical medical and transport supplies that were directly distributed to zionists army ( war criminals ) personnel mobilized for active combat.

Recently, I have been giving to two fundraisers in chuffed.org. one is the Sameer Project and the other is the Olive Land School, both of which I have verified. The Sameer Project provides lots of details about how money is transferred to the Gaza projects they are supporting.

I would like to donate to other fundraisers, but it is unclear to me how the money, especially from the U.S., is transferred to the various projects. Is there someone who can explain this to me. Thanks!

I've been through some very difficult circumstances.

Every time I feel like we've finally reached the end of displacement and moving from one place to another, life becomes difficult again and forces us to move once more.

After finally managing to stay in one place for nearly two years, the owner recently asked us to leave. So once again, my family and I had to pack what little we have and move somewhere else.

It may sound like just another move, but for us, it means starting over again — finding a place to stay, worrying about the cost, and trying to rebuild whatever little stability we had.

I'm exhausted, but I'll keep trying for my family. I don't know what comes next, but I refuse to stop trying.

Had a naive fantasy about starting an American Civilian Army to fight against Israel and protect the Palestine people.  Of course this would be nearly impossible.  

In my city an Army veteran named Greg Stoker was aboard the civilian-led Global Sumud Flotilla attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza before being intercepted and detained by the Israeli military in late 2025.  

Something like this but in a mass organization of people.  There are enough of us to make an enormous statement to Israel.  More than local protests could ever do.  What if everyone that actually gives a damn and is willing to risk their lives for what they believe in came together as one and actually fought for justice with every shred of your entire being. Non-stop attempts at delivering aid, a call to arms, anything.  

I found a website for an organization that trains volunteers to actually go to Gaza and aid Palestinians.  They say you must procure your own funding however.  If enough of us went, it would be huge.  And more people would go there from all of the world. Right now the world is just watching, and hardly anyone is doing anything.  A few weeks back I saw an ad campaign called “I AM ISRAEL” put on by the Israeli Tourism Ministry to encourage Americans to “visit Israel and explore all the wonderful things it has to offer”.   What if we also went there to protest? Protest right where the enemy is on their home territory.  

An ex-American Airman actually lit himself on fire and died outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., to protest U.S. support for the war in Gaza was 25-year-old Aaron Bushnell.  Never would I imagine a day when Americans would be lighting themselves on fire for Palestine.  I am not advocating this level of resistance but respect him for doing that.  I know there must be others who feel this strongly.  How can we do something to stop the genocide before it is too late?

A grief that settles deep in the bones and refuses to leave. I am old enough now to carry it, to live beside it, but countless children are still living this as their only reality. They did not choose their circumstances, yet they bear the weight of them every single day.
