Discussion Newest update from the GFN team regarding Steam Workshop mods (a workaround for specific titles)
We heard your feedback that the recent Steam update affected your ability to use Steam Workshop mods on GeForce NOW. To support the latest Steam app updates and help ensure supported games continue to run as expected in the cloud, we temporarily disabled the ability to download Steam Workshop mods during a game session.
While Steam Workshop mods are still not officially supported on GeForce NOW, starting today, we’ve enabled a temporary workaround for select games that may have been affected.
This temporary workaround changes the launch experience for all players of these games on GeForce NOW, even if they do not use Steam Workshop mods:
After selecting PLAY in the GeForce NOW app, members will arrive at the game’s Steam library page and will need to select PLAY in Steam to launch the game.
More details, including the list of supported games and instructions, will be available in a KBA posted shortly at the following link: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5166/

Discussion DLSS 5 on GeForce NOW Performance by ABYA Brazil
Good evening, everyone!
I have a question about DLSS 5. I’m currently using the GeForce NOW Performance plan in Brazil, which is operated by ABYA, and I was wondering if there is any information about DLSS 5 coming to this plan.
NVIDIA has confirmed that DLSS 5 will be available on GeForce NOW, but I haven’t been able to find any specific information regarding ABYA Brazil or the Performance plan.
Has ABYA confirmed whether DLSS 5 will be available on the Performance plan? Or is there any estimate of when it might be available?
If anyone has any information or an official announcement from ABYA or NVIDIA about this, I’d really appreciate it!

Opinion Impressed by the paid tier, gg Nvidia
Just giving my 2 cents about the service, not affiliated nor sponsored or whatever, just my own opinion.
I used to play a lot a few years ago, always having the top spec rig. But over the years I played less and less (life you know). I ended up reselling all my PC and gaming gear.
Fast forward today, I now have a MacBook Pro, which, even if it is definitely capable of gaming with today's chips, it still can't play games with anti cheats softwares (battlefield, etc).
I tried out of curiosity the free tier, and it was awful, the "60" FPS felt like a powerpoint, with horrible mouse input latency. But maybe I'm a 120hz princess.
After lurking around, I told myself "f-it let's buy a month of the Ultimate plan" and see for real what "120fps" and 100mbps feel like, without much hope.
Well, I spent a lot of time tweaking my wifi router to not have any packet drop or latency spike, and now I'm blown away, I can play some huge titles, start the game in seconds, maxed out the graphics, bitrate and resolution, and it plays great. I still feel like it doesn't quite feel like 120fps and there is some input latency, but it's fine for non-competitive gaming and the picture quality is great too.
I find the ultimate plan quite expensive and there is some marketplaces missing (rockstar games I'm talking about you). I guess I won't buy it each month, but for someone who wants to play from time to time (or someone that doesn't have a spare organ to sell for buying today's computer parts), it's a good service.
Thanks Nvidia

Advice Looking for the cheapest possible PC setup for GeForce NOW
Hi!
I'm looking to buy a very simple and inexpensive PC mainly for gaming through NVIDIA GeForce NOW. I don't need the PC itself to run demanding games, since I'll be streaming them through GeForce NOW.
My main goal is to spend as little as possible while still getting a decent experience. I'm starting from scratch, so I would need the whole setup:
PC or mini PC
Monitor
Keyboard (maybe a cute one with lights?🥺)
Mouse
Any other essentials
I'm currently considering a mini PC with something like a Ryzen 5 7430U, 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD, but I'm wondering whether that's actually overkill for GeForce NOW or if there are cheaper options that would make more sense.
I'm also wondering how much I can save on the monitor. Would a cheap 21–22" 1080p 60/75/100 Hz monitor be perfectly fine for GeForce NOW, or is there a reason to spend more?
(Also: I live in Italy, so prices and availability here can be different from the US)
I'd especially appreciate recommendations for specific models and good places to buy them, rather than just general specs.
Thanks and sorry for my english!

Discussion What is the real probability of having FromSoftware/Sony/Rockstar Studios by YE 2027?
I know some of them have their own plans of cloud infra and negative impact on their ecosystem. But, given the expansion of GFN servers and unmatched quality, i think within next year the size of gamers on it would be highest and at one point wouldn't these Game Studio must ask whether to just opt in and get these gamers access to their IP with best experience or indulge in billions of dollars of capex to build their own servers and ultimately pay Nvidia or AMD.

Questions / Tech Support How noticeable is Perfomance from Ultimate if I don't play very demanding games?
Hi guys, I play mostly Paradox games that can't run in my laptop (Vic 3 and Eu5) so I was wondering, is it worth to go Ultimate? Or is it more aimed towards people who play high end multiplayer games? Is the FPS and loading times the only noticeable difference?

Gamescom Giveaway Three Things I Love About Nvidia GeForce Now
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi folks, I’d like to share my clip for the Gamescom giveaway, which I’ve titled “Three Things I Love About Nvidia GeForce Now.”
Even though I’m a little “rusty” when it comes to editing, I had a lot of fun making this video, and I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for watching, and good luck to everyone!
P.S.: There are actually lots of other things I love about GFN, but I didn’t include them in the clip otherwise it would have turned into a short film 😄

Questions / Tech Support GeForce NOW stuck on “Connecting…” / Error 0xC0F220F
Hi, I’m having an issue with GeForce NOW on my old Windows 10 PC.
When I launch a game, it gets stuck on “Connecting…” for about 20–30 seconds, then either fails or shows:
“The game unexpectedly stopped. Please restart it. Error code: 0xC0F220F.”
PC specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Build 19045
Intel Core i5-650 @ 3.20 GHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Intel HD Graphics (1st generation)
Driver: 8.15.10.2900 (2012)
WDDM 1.1 / Feature Level 10_0
GFN version 2.0.88.129
Ethernet connection
I tested the GFN app, Edge, Edge InPrivate and Brave, with the same result. I also tried 720p/30 FPS.
My internet connection appears to be fine (0% packet loss, ~6 ms ping), and the same GFN account works perfectly on my Dell Latitude 3140 using the same home network.
Interestingly, this PC worked with GeForce NOW about a year ago.
Could the current GFN client have dropped compatibility with this generation of Intel HD Graphics? Is there any software workaround or older GFN version that could work?
I’m specifically looking for a solution that does not require replacing the GPU.
Thanks!

Bug Fallout 76 Movement Bug - Unplayable
I was trying to start a new Fallout 76 character, and there appears to be a bug happening where none of the directional keys work. Other buttons work normally, but I can't move. So I can't even leave the tutorial area.
