For those wondering, it’s the same size as the RHRN bucket, it has the same 3d feel to it, and the inside is purple. The tumbler is just a standard tumbler.

Would've bought both if they were at the theater but meh

I got my set for $26.99 at the theater. I think it was cheaper than a large popcorn and soda.

u/noodle-face 2d ago

Yeah unfortunately mine had nothing. Was a little disappointing. I was ready to buy merch haha

u/charliekelly76 2d ago

I would have bought them at the theater but they didn’t have them either.

u/PatrixXxzie 2d ago

Wtf? So expensive? We bought TWO buckets and one cup for the price of 19 €

u/Nice-Cow-7606 2d ago

$50 with shipping Canadian.

u/helderico 2d ago

I would've loved to waste my money on it at Cineplex but I couldn't find any. With shipping to Canada this will be a big no-no unfortunately

That’s hilarious - just got back from seeing the film and paid only $14.99 for the bucket - filled with popcorn and free refills. Think I’m gonna use it for a wine or champagne ice bucket.

Oh, and the movie was great fun. Gonna miss Toblerone while he takes a hiatus.

Those prices are obscene

Papa answered this prayer personally.

What do you even DO with the bucket? I saw it in my theater but it was like 20€ and I didn’t know what to do with it. A pot for a plant?

Do people eat so much popcorn? Am I missing something?

11

u/Critical_Trifle6228 2d ago

Use it for popcorn at home???

4

u/Cheap-Worry-4121 2d ago

Who eats popcorn at home??? It’s not a thing where I am from…

13

u/Critical_Trifle6228 2d ago

Where are you from? Bagged, microwaveable popcorn is very popular in the United States.

5

u/Cheap-Worry-4121 2d ago

Germany. We do have microwaveable popcorn but I don’t know anyone who has bought it.

4

u/CranberryMelonTea 1d ago

You're in the wrong part of Germany or grew up massively different than my social circle then. It's extremely common in my area and growing up we used to make popcorn all the time. It gets sold in stores, like, the kernels, the microwave bags, the premade ones. Look around your chips aisle, most bigger stores definitely do sell it and it gets bought. There are even specialty variants with different flavours :D hell, I know at least one person with a popcorn machine. It's popular as heck around here

u/Cheap-Worry-4121 1d ago

Ok that’s realllyyyy strange. I even asked around to see if I was the weird one. But everyone was like “who eats popcorn at home”? :’D

1

u/CranberryMelonTea 1d ago

Maybe it's really an areal thing? I'm from western Germany, close to several bordering countries. Maybe it's different in the North / South / East, if that's your rough location ? :D I'm kind of intrigued now, maybe my whole social circle(s) were just always weird ones then.

1

u/Cheap-Worry-4121 1d ago

Ruhrgebiet :D so I guess one of us is the weird one

9

u/Critical_Trifle6228 2d ago

That’s so bizarre! It’s extremely common here.

10

u/Cheap-Worry-4121 2d ago

Don’t know why I’m getting the downvotes for this. Is popcorn something treasured in the US? :D

But yeah, it’s not a big thing over here except for going to the movies, that’s why I passed on the bucket. But maybe it would have been nice for a potted plant.

u/sipsredpepper 2d ago

It's not so much treasured? Just common. It's tasty, it's inexpensive, it's satisfying, can often be quite healthy too. I grew up eating tons of it. It was an inexpensive and fairly inoffensive method my parents could employ to keep up with kids snacking.

1

u/ScaretaleNW 2d ago

quite healthy? how? or is it compared with other junk food in the US?

5

u/sipsredpepper 2d ago

If it's cooked plain with no added fat or salt it's high fiber and often filling without as high calorie content as other common snacks like crackers or chips. So effectively, yes, compared to other junk food. It's not like a plain cucumber or a pile of spinach, but it's world's better than cheetos.

I recommend asking at r/volumeeating about the many benefits of popcorn /hj. Prepared the right way, it's a filling snack you can eat tons of without it being a massive calorie or makro imbalance.

We bought a plastic Taylor Swift Eras tour popcorn bucket several years back. Whenever a kid gets sick, the bucket comes out. It was getting old, so I had an idea...
Alas, the 2B2R bucket that I purchased was metal, so I don't know what the hell to do with it.

4

u/Dontlikeusernames527 2d ago

I saw someone on tiktok that had made a vase out of it .. I thought that was cute, but yeah I only bought the tumbler bc I know I’ll use tf outta that 🥤

3

u/DrustanAstrophel 2d ago

Stick a grocery bag in it and use it as a tiny office sized trash can? 🤷

2

u/DrustanAstrophel 2d ago

I should note my wife and I opted to only get the tumbler because we don’t really have space for the bucket lol

2

u/basskittens 2d ago

I put mine on my collectibles bookshelf filled with a bunch of random crap.

0

u/KatieTSO 2d ago

How was it? I'm really sad I missed it...

0

u/sipsredpepper 2d ago

I use mine for popcorn at home.

3

u/GalaxiaPato 2d ago

I knew it would be online soon, but i was NOT going to pay S&H when I could buy in person. Thanks goodness I live in a good area that is stocked

3

u/Chihirocherrybabyttv 2d ago

Mine was 17.99 and I’ll probably use as a wastebasket that’s what I did with my jp world one .please don’t downvote me for disrespecting the unholy popcorn bucket

10

u/Ulrich453 2d ago

They’re very cheap and Chinese. Not worth.

5

u/Frodo_Of_The_Shire1 2d ago

Unpopular Opinion: these designs suck ass, they're so incredibly boring and for this supposedly being "THE" Ghost movie, you'd think they'd want the bucket and cup to actually look good. Feels cash grabby because they know the fandom will take anything thrown at them, even if it's bad

5

u/rumblestripper 2d ago

I don't know why you got downvoted for speaking the truth, they look crap.

4

u/Frodo_Of_The_Shire1 2d ago

Because people don't actually want to hear the truth that their favorite band has become a cash grab anymore, basically

2

u/Kylkek 1d ago

Tobias is doing everything he can to be KISS and people are in so much denial about it

1

u/Hotelbibletwitch 2d ago

Theater near our place had the bucket and cup bundled for 27$

1

u/filledwithstraw 1d ago

Same. And free refills on the cup.

1

u/D3WM3R 2d ago

I ended up getting the cup at my theatre which is nice!

1

u/rockdocta 1d ago

Missed opportunity not labeling it a Popecorn bucket.

1

u/dandylyon1 Custom Flair 1d ago

Because they already made that one, it's the one in the middle

1

u/Ok-Lie-301 1d ago

My only complaint regarding the 2BTR experience was that there was no indication at Regal that these were available. Then I saw ppl walk in with them after I had already bought popcorn and drinks and couldn’t help but feel disappointed. I was also hoping to take a picture with my daughter in front of a movie poster but there was none…

u/wonderbrad777 10h ago

The employees at the theater I went to last week couldn't get the IMAX projector working (and they didn't want my help as an AV Engineer go figure) so these are the only good thing to come from that night for me.

Edit I can't spell my own job
