We could use more veterans like that. I had a trainer at my last job who brought it up every chance he could, and didn't bother to actually teach. Fuck you Rob, you were basically a line cook for the Marines.

That seems to be the case for a lot of the "THANK ME FOR MY SERVICE!!" crowd. I've got a lot of friends and family who served and mostly the sentiment is "Yeah, it was a job and a lot of it sucked but the benefits were worth it"
