This isn’t the best I did on Procreate but I decided to draw Ayuko Hayami from the anime Golden Boy.

as she is looking after a unknown race car style experiment shark oc of mine known as Gateway in a pocket dimension like race track swimming pool.

with different alts for Ayuko. where she breath hold free dives snorkels or scuba dives.

and especially where she looks after shark pup sized Gateway

Who in a way has the ability to change sizes.

And Gateway occasionally uniquely helps protect many swimming students in Ayuko’s swim classes. it’s unknown

of how exactly did she find this unknown selfless shark and headcanons are welcome.

Brought this nearly eight years ago!

Ayuko is my favorite girl!

Took a lot of trial and error but I finally got it!!! It looks awesome. The extras menu is a little loud but I can live with it considering I won't be visiting that menu at all.

idk the hair and the turtlneck just really does it for me

Recently got done with the anime and quite liked it, heard the manga (after the animes endpoint) goes into a very strange direction, should i give it a go?

also Ayuko is best girl change my mind

thinking of reading the manga. Any suggestions?

I have seen Golden boy all over the place but when i look it up on crunchyroll i cant seem to find it

I loved Ayuko’s design and especially her swimsuit, so I couldn’t pass up a chance to try drawing her.

I invented this theory for a few reasons.

First, it's practically impossible for anyone to survive that fall from the bridge. I know that serves as a relief for me, but if we look at it from that perspective...

Kintaro could have died there, and then the forest spirit would have been his soul.

Now, the second point: I believe episode 6 would be like Kintaro's purgatory, because first, episode 6 is an original episode for the anime, it's not in the manga, and there he reunites with all the... Girls, and in this episode they're producing their own Golden Boy anime as if it were a kind of metaphor for Kintaro seeing his own life and accepting the end, and at the end of the episode it would be him going To paradise.

In this theory, I disregard what happens in the manga because, for me, Kintaro's story in the anime ended definitively in episode 6.

So, what about you guys? What do you think of this theory? Tell me, I really want to know!

It's worth mentioning that this is a way for me to imagine that nothing from the manga happened in the anime because, for me, Golden Ben in the manga...It's the saddest case of a project that changed its course.

In Blue Seed, episode 19, if you watch the segment between 4 minutes and 6 minutes, after the weird light descends from the sky, the news crew throws to their "man on the scene, Kin Oe."

Once he starts talking (it never shows him), the voice is immediately recognizable as our boy (it's the same voice actor, Doug Smith). Then at the end of his report, he ends with, "Filling in for Steve Martin, this is Kintaro Oe, signing off."

He never appeared on screen, but I bet he was studying very intensely, and perhaps he even saved the world! (But other people must have gotten the credit for it....)

I wonder what girls he met.... Maybe that girl with the anti-tank missile at 6:00.... "Ohhh, baby! You can launch my missile any time!!"

EDIT: I suppose I should mention, at the start of the segment after 4:00, a random young guy rides up on a bike wearing a backwards hat, backpack, and bike gloves. He stops at a vending machine and says, "Oh Cool! Soda!" and purchases one to drink. It's hard to tell if it's Kintaro's voice, but it sounds similar and is spoken in a way Kintaro might say it. However, when it shows the young man's face from the side and front, he has short hair (no pony tail) and just doesn't look like Kintaro. It could be an homage though.
