Same here, in real-time GA dashboard. Always sketches me out because I think suddenly my website/server is down lol, but it's up and working just fine. I heard that there was a real-time reporting issue just like this 2 weeks ago too, I wonder what keeps causing it!

I went through my entire site trying to figure out what was causing the drop, until I confirmed that the issue was actually with Analytics.

I have the same problem for Romania, since yesterday at 16:00 PM, i have 1 or 2 visitors on my website, real time( i think it s organic), but before there, were about 30-40 real time people on website. The budget was also untouched. Today i have 0 entries, 0 orders, from ads. My site it s practically invisible.

Happens way too often. This time I actually thought there is something wrong with my websites, because for some sites traffic is okay, but some are down by 50%.

Yes, my real-time is showing 50% lower than it usually does, started in the last hour or so. I hate that it freaks me out when I see it, but glad I'm not alone.
I've considered using a back up analytics tool to see when it is just GA or something wrong with my site. Any recommendations? Anyone use plausible or matomo?

I had a ridiculous drop in tracked traffic right after June 25 and I still have no idea what caused it. I’ve been trying to figure out what broke for weeks now but all of my GTM testing shows that nothing is wrong.

Could be the August spam update, depending on when you noticed it. I'd check GSC before assuming GA is the problem. Is the drop only from Google organic?
