Coordinates ✅ Unexpected plane
I don't really understand what it's doing here? I suppose it went by at the moment the picture was take by the satellite and nobody noticed/cared to erase it? It has a hell of a vibe though I kinda like it!

Yes planes can fly, and why would they bother with removing it?

Planes don't fly at the same speed as cars so I would guess it is pretty rare that they get a somewhat clear picture of one middle flight from space. They bother removing clouds, and it is very unusual to see planes outside of airports for what I've seen. Just take a peek at flightradar24 to see that the sky is pretty much continuously covered by planes that don't appear on the satellite view of google maps meaning they probably get removed some way or another.

super common and expected. we see this kind of post all the time.
its a plane, flying. you should expect to see that in high-altitude aerial photographs sometimes

Only in satellite imagery. Survey flights are done lower than commercial aviation flight levels.

An airplane in the sky is pretty expected...

There are hundreds of planes at the bottom of earth’s oceans.
But we never hear about submarines in the sky.
Someone should look into that…
