Discussion Just deleted Google Maps

Got rid of @GoogleMaps for pandering to a convicted felon. Both @Waze and @Mapquest still call Lake Ontario by its true name

Waze has changed it - at least as of today (08/31). Mapquest doubled down on not going to change it and is the most popular free app in the App Store today.

So you're an idiot.

Many countries do this. All over the world. There are different names for geological areas.

This may be dumb. And I don't really care about politics. But this isn't a Google thing or any other map provider thing. If you are in the US it will show as one thing. If you are elsewhere it will show as something else.
