Why does Bluetooth get turned back on?
I turned off Bluetooth and bingo it was turned back on. Who owns this p10pxl? I guess Google does. Grrr. It seems if I turn off Bluetooth I think I have a valid reason. The phone doesn't just need to reconnect.

I had the same issue. For me it wasn't the turn on tomorrow option. It was the "turn on whenever a trusted device is nearby" option

Never heard of this option before. The only "trusted device" option I know of would be for the Extend Unlock feature. Got a screenshot?

If the BT is off, how is it supposed to know when a trusted BT device is nearby?

So the setting makes it to where it never actually turns off. That's why you got to turn up the setting off

This only happens to me in the car with Android Auto. AA is flaky most of the time for me and there are times when I want to just disable it completely by turning Bluetooth off. 5 seconds later, Bluetooth comes back on. I usually end up shutting my phone down entirely.

I was just thinking this this morning. It's annoying af. I use my tab and speaker at night and it always connects also and hear my notifications interrupting my shows at night. I selected do not not back on for a damn reason.

At least you have Bluetooth. My 8 Pro auto updated in January and I have had no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi since then. There was a week just before I was about to go back to university where my sim decided to die as well so for a week I had a brick before a SIM swap.
One of the things I'm looking forward to when getting my 11 Pro XL upgrade is WiFi and Bluetooth so I can finally use my Bluetooth headphones instead of annoying wired one which means I can't charge it or use a memory stick at the same time

If you have car play connected with the wifi connect, it will repeatly turn on Bluetooth.

Do you have location scanning on?
Try setting: Settings → Location → Location services → Bluetooth scanning → OFF
EDIT: sigh... this is an actual reason that bluetooth gets turned back on... not sure why this got downvoted

Turn off the Bluetooth "Automatically Turn on Tomorrow" setting:
- Open your phone's Settings.
- Tap Connected devices, then select Connection preferences.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Toggle off Automatically turn on tomorrow.
You could've Googled this.

Nope. Doesn't work. Still turns back on. There are more settings you have to turn off

Why do you care?

Because I trying to get my Phillips Hearing Aides to reconnect, and part of what works is to turn off Bluetooth so that the Philips app reconnects. That's why I care.

Had the same "issue" (it's actually a feature), and found this using Google AI and it worked.
