The main altarpiece of the Miraflores Charterhouse in Burgos, Spain, made between 1496 and 1499 CE. It was carved in wood by the artist Gil de Siloé and polychrome and gilded by Diego de la Cruz (whose gold came from the first shipments of the Americas after its discovery) [2736x3648]

Alternative names for Romanesque and Gothic architecture

It is well-known that the names Romanesque and Gothic were given to these styles by the Renaissance scholars, and strictly speaking, they aren't very suitable for them (because Romanesque architects weren't any closer to Rome than any other "small Renaissance" of the Middle Ages, and Gothic architecture has nothing to do with Goths). So, if you had to create different names for these two, what would they be?
