Classic I've read the rules, but i don't know how to find threads, if needed you guys can move or delete my question, i'm sorry. Question: Is there any Amy's build to do all the end-game content as a solo?

Sorry in advance, english is not my first language. So, i really like Amy, but she looks to weak and slow for everything (i can do Calnat if i spend some lifes and a ton of resources). I play 99% of the time solo, played older and other versions of the game, came to the steam version 15 days ago and would love to know if she is able to do for example the hard towers solo, 4f void, etc. The end-game stuff. Would love if you guys could help me with this dilema: play for fun and never got to the top (grind low tier for ages) or play for fun and get to the top (dancing in the bosses faces). Thank you all. \o

Classic Grand Chase Doesnt Need More Maps... It Needs Better Level Design!!

I think Grand chase doesnt necessarily need more maps... I think it needs to rethink how its maps are designed, so I want to bring up this point in a discussion, shall we?

Harrier is probably the clearest example of why the old level design doesn't work very well for new endgame content. We still spend most of the mission moving through disconnected rooms, killing everything, changing screens, and repeating the same structure until we reach the boss

Solene has already started experimenting with some new ideas, but there's an older example that I think we completely overlooked >>>Frostland, Edel's starting region <<

In Frostland, the map doesn't feel like a sequence of isolated rooms. Areas are physically connected as extensions of each other, with barriers preventing progression until enemies are defeated. The Divine Beast Sanctuary in Solene uses a similar idea.

I think this concept could be pushed much further!!!

Imagine future endgame missions built as larger interconnected maps with different paths, optional rooms, shortcuts, secret areas, treasure chests like the ones in Aton's Bandit Village, rare encounters and optional bosses, sounds good, doesn't it?

Instead of always going:

Room > kill everything > next room > kill everything >> boss

we could actually explore a dungeon!!!

And why stop there? Grand Chase could introduce simple puzzles and environmental challenges into missions. The game already has platforming and parkour sections, so these mechanics could easily be combined with exploration.

Imagine finding a secret path that requires activating mechanisms in the correct order, completing a parkour section to reach a hidden chest, or solving a small environmental puzzle to unlock an optional boss.

It doesn't need to turn Grand Chase into a puzzle game. These mechanics would simply break up the constant combat and make the dungeon itself part of the gameplay.

Combat + exploration + secrets + puzzles + parkour could make future missions feel much more like actual adventures instead of another sequence of rooms filled with enemies.

This could also offer an alternative to Raids. Raids are interesting, dont misunderstand me,but they require coordinated groups and can become stressful for players without an active guild or regular party. Exploration focused endgame missions could provide challenging content that is also enjoyable solo or with casual groups.

And the biggest advantage is replayability.

The mission doesnt necessarily need to be procedurally generated (no no no) A well designed map with multiple routes, secrets, optional objectives and different encounters could make each run feel slightly different depending on where you decide to go.

Grand Chase has already experimented with pieces of this idea. Frostland showed interconnected stages. Solene is experimenting with more dynamic environments. Aton showed us that exploration could reward players with chests. And the games parkour sections prove that missions dont need to revolve exclusively around combat.

Maybe it's time to combine all of those ideas.

I'll leave an example of a map I designed myself to illustrate what I mean.

What you think???

Should Grand Chases future endgame continue with the traditional room by room structure, or are we ready for something more focused on exploration, secrets, puzzles, parkour and replayability?

Is the future of Grand Chase really just more of the same, or are we ready to try something different?

Ps: I translated it using Google Translate and did some parts myself, so please excuse any grammatical errors!

Classic Card drop from Boss

Can you get a random card even if it dropped from the boss after you defeated it? I killed Corrupted Gaian, and I saw that it dropped a card. After checking my inventory, it shows that I got a specific random mob from that dungeon instead.

Classic Ryan tips

Guys, I need some advice on Ryan. Out of all the characters I’ve leveled up, I feel like I’m lacking damage in pretty much everything I do. I’m from the era when Nephirim used to deal A LOT of damage, and nowadays it seems like the wolf transformation is much better.

Classic Returning Player, tried playing Grand Chase on Steam (Thoughts):

Pros:

No need to buy Seal Breaker Beads anymore to open Coordi Items

No need to buy Pet Attacks anymore - all pets have infinite attacks

No need to buy Skill Unlock Keys anymore - all skills are unlocked automatically

No need to refine Necklaces anymore - just choose which effects to apply (on hit only, on skill only, or both)

No need to unlock Characters anymore - just choose a character and you can play it

No need to complete the set before you can get Gacha Weapons or Pets - everything has the same pull rate, so you can get the Pet first

Skill Reset Cards and All Skill Reset Cards are purchaseable by GP - can experiment with builds

Some abilities (Dio Hand and Scythe abilities, Asin water abilities) are not skills anymore and incorporated into commands instead

Extremely soloable up to level 80+

Decent free Earrings + Ring

Cons:

Pets are locked to the character that unlocked it, and cannot be shared

Titles are also locked to the character that unlocked it, and cannot be shared

No more level 30 / 60 / 90 Gacha equipment - so you use either item sets from monster drops, or end-game sets like Phantom Phoenix and Iron Dragon. No in-between

Some of the new characters are very bland and boring (Decanee), a couple are okay-ish (Kallia, Ai), while a couple are extremely overtuned (Ereb, Iris)

Bonus recharge (the ones used to resurrect in Dungeons) are extremely expensive now - it costs 300 Points for ONE, and you only get 500 Points a day for attendance

Classic Thoughts on Ereb gameplay so far?

How's the experience so far? His party shielding and counter is nice but since the game is skewed towards dps checks, I wish they reward successful parries more. Like I shouldn't die while parrying

On the dps side, personally I think Ereb has all the tools to succeed as a dps but his window to deal damage is so tight. His ruin blade doesnt have super armor and once you're doing the full combo, it's hard to reposition for back attacks (but you can dash to get back attack for the big slash)

I won't be surprised if they suddenly give him a Zero 4mp kind of skill for his Awakening since they actually nerfed his ruin blade

Classic The case for an opt-in Ironman / Solo Self-Found mode in Grand Chase Classic

I have been playing Grand Chase on and off since Season 1, and lately I have been wondering what it would take for me to fully get back into GCC.

To be fair, I get why the game is designed the way it is right now. With over 20 characters and most players having very little free time, Jump Events make complete sense for anyone who just wants to jump straight into endgame raids with friends.

The problem is that for players who actually enjoy the grind and playing solo, skipping straight to max level skips almost the entire game. The feeling of earning gear upgrades and clearing dungeons on your own is pretty much gone.

This is why having an official, opt-in challenge mode would be great. Call it Ironman, Solo Self-Found, or whatever fits best. The name does not matter at all, what really matters is the core idea behind it.

How it could work:

  • 100% Opt-in: Normal servers, matchmaking, and jump events stay exactly the same. Only players who want the challenge would create these characters.
  • No VP or Cash Shop: No Seal Breakers, no stat scrolls, no cash items. Everything has to come from monster drops and GP systems.
  • Slower, old-school XP pacing: XP gain should be tuned down so you actually play through maps instead of outleveling an entire continent in two runs.
  • True Solo: No shared warehouse, no carries, no event handouts, and solo-only matchmaking.
  • Solo-friendly mechanics: Boss mechanics in Hero Dungeons, Berkas, and late-game content adjusted so a skilled solo player with good gear can actually clear them.
  • Dedicated icon right from level 1: A distinct badge or icon next to your name right from character creation, clearly distinguishing the account from standard characters so other players know it is 100% self-funded with zero cash or event boosts.

Why this makes sense:

  • Great for YouTube and Twitch: Old School RuneScape blew up on social media largely because of Ironman series from creators like Settled and B0aty. People love watching high-stakes progression from scratch. With over 20 unique characters and playstyles, GCC has massive potential for challenge runs.
  • Reusing existing content: Low and mid-tier dungeons, card farming, and forge armor sets become relevant again overnight without KOG needing to design new maps.
  • Forcing mechanical mastery: This is not to diminish how anyone currently plays the game, but you are forced to learn boss patterns, dodge timings, and manage MP/AP resource loops just to get through dungeons.
  • Replay value: Running this mode on Elesis feels completely different from running it on Ronan or Dio.
  • Low dev effort: Setting this up does not delay the regular update roadmap.

It is definitely a niche mode, but having it as an option would bring back a lot of players who miss the progression and love self-reliance, without messing with how the actual player base enjoy the game.

Classic Grand Chase Characters

Hi everyone!

I’m a returning/veteran player who just started playing Grand Chase Classic again to kill some time. I have experience with both the old and newer versions of GC, and I used to main Dio since he was heavily skill-based.

I know the skills and mechanics are quite different in Classic, so I wanted to ask: Is Dio still overpowered, or are there other characters you’d recommend? Any tips on good characters, mechanics, or things I should focus on would be greatly appreciated.

I’m still figuring things out, so any advice is welcome.

Thanks! 🙌

Classic LF people to play/grind with.

It's as the title says. I have like one buddy I grind with, he and I are both NA so our times work perfectly but I want some people to gear with/run dailies with when he isn't on. I'm more than capable of doing them myself but it just gets very boring and kills my grinding early. I don't really care where you're from when we play as I only play on the Asia server.

Just wanna vent about today’s voting result lol

I just wanna know why most of the logical choices in these votes usually end up winning, except for the most obvious one (at least for me), where the options were 3,000 Darkstones or 50 Red Rocks. 😭

Like… can someone explain to me why 50 Red Rocks was the better choice?

Especially considering today is also the day we're getting the free T5 Epic Fury Rune. 3,000 Darkstones would have been insanely useful for anyone trying to work on their runes.

Maybe I’m missing something here, but I genuinely thought the Darkstones were the obvious choice this time. 😂

What am I missing? Why did everyone choose the Red Rocks?

Classic Old player returning (Mari help)

Hey hey! I'm one of those Old Brazilian Season 3/Chaos veterans. Returning after many years, played GCC when it launched sinece characters were slowly unlocking, anyways I'm back with my main Mari alrealdy Lv90 200K.

Apologies for not using propper names im moatly used to my regular idiom and got a bit lost on ENG Wiki for Awakening stuff

Haven't unlocked the last super of her but the new 4th skill feels weaker than the regular old one, is that true or something wrong in my build? (Also what should I mostly build to do damage and have dmg rating/score)

How does runes mostly work? Is there a good video guide? This is something completely new alongside some new itens.

The endgame itens are upgrading the True Iron Dragon set to Void right? (Already got the WDW due event) Should I remove the rocks and cards when upgrading or they are kept?

Im rushing to upgrade the earring is that okayish?

Also it seems the card fusion is far different....

Apologis for many questions regarding character and mechanics, literally the GC I used to know changed a ton and im glas new things are coming, really open to learn abt the changes and new stuff!

(No more Leviathan 300x to unlock characters!)

Classic I was suddenly banned

It's just me venting here.

I play this game for two decades. Started on season 1.

I even played pirate servers after the game's shutdown and returned on launch date for GCC.

Never came close on being banned.

Last friday I came home after 48h working. I was going to travel with my wife on saturday, so I loged in to try to do the Void raid wih my Siegheart (the only one that can do it. Yeah, despite playing for a long time, I suck at this game).

I entered some room with some random guys. My sieg has 420K TA.

A lot of rooms asked for 500k and this one was not specifing TA. I was afraid of being kicked, but the host started the game.

The game started and after some seconds, my game crashed. Closed by itself. I was annoyed, but was so tired from work that I gave up playing and went to sleep.

I woke up the next day, had some time before traveling.

Boot the game, and then... Couldn't log in. Was banned til the 23rd.

I did nothing.

I spent some money in this game and was furious that now I can't play Ereb's launch.

Tried e-mailing the support, and they just answered that they couldn't do nothing and I'll have to wait til 23rd.

No explanation. Nothing.

It's bizarre that they can just lift your access to the game after you spent money in it. Without you doing nothing and without any explaining.

KoG is very lucky there aren't any games like Grand Chase out there. Because while the game is fun, KoG sucks.

Classic Is it possible to play the game on mobile?

I don't have a budget even for a laptop so I can't play it. I'm an old player of the original. I started playing the original maybe 2012 or 2013 until it shut down. I saw a post somewhere that they brought it back even if it's different now. They should've made a mobile version of the original so more players can play the game and some OG players who don't have a pc like me can play it again. I'm also aware that there's a mobile game sequel of the OG game but I don't like that. I prefer to play the OG. I saw Ereb is gonna be playable soon that's why I really wanna play it again. I also miss my favorite characters. They said that there's like a file that you need to download in github to be able to play with your phone? But some said that it's not working anymore. Is there a new file for it to work on phones?
