Being a good suppressor host is my number one criteria for a PCC.
I believe I found my suppressed PCC 45 Shangri La with the CMMG RDB, yet my Bogs in 9mm and the 35* locking block and Glock lowers reign supreme for me.
I put together all the goodies on my SP45A3 (real German HK mags, 35* locking block, sweet folding brace, etc). Don’t get me wrong, the 45 Bog is reliable and very accurate, but I just like the CMMG better.
Not trying to break any rules, but would like to know where the best place would be to sell such a niche firearm. Is there anything like GAFS for the guns themselves?
Finally had time to do some testing with the curved mags with 147g critical defense, running the 3stage buffer and an obsidian 9 can. It really did not like the hollows but ate every other form of 9mm i brought with me with no issues. Going to give the GO versions of the mags a try, anyone interested in a bunch of curved and steel lipped mags if the GO ones work🤣.
SP9A3G, Rugged Obsidian 9 (with the fixed barrel spacer), Holosun ARO with the 3x magnifier, and changed out for the HBI Short Stroke Buffer and the 40 degree locking block.
No pun intended. I waited a few months and was able to secure one once JTAC had them available for sale.
With that being said, this thing shoots just as soft as the first time I demo'd one.
Up front is a SiCo Omega9K, Arisaka Fingerstop, BCM grip, Streamlight 1L-X Pro, and an EOTech 512. That 512 came off my first rifle and the fiancée really liked the reticle.
I would like to explore a different option for the Streamlight switch. Current position makes a "wide" C Clamp if I want to engage it that way.
Anyway, it's a nice setup. I may consider a riser for the 512. I'm a lil spoiled from the Unity/EXPS3 on my Mk18.
Lingle V2 came today. Stoked. Have had nothing but flawless performance out of puppy but it’s telling me it wanna go brrrt. So what’s good recommendations for a sup er se le ct or? Surely not all are created equal. Would love to hear from my big boys. Thanks in advance.
I'm pretty much done with my build but I'd like to replace this cheap red dot. I had an EOTech but I put it on my MK18, what do y'all recommend that wont starburst with my astigmatism.
Does anyone make something like that? the 35 is much better than 40, but still to much vs a jp5, please someone make 25 or 30?! or is my google fu weak, and someone knows who has them
Decided to upgrade to an A3S. Ran HP and flat nose reliably today thanks to the lingle lower. Currently running an HBI short stroke buffer but am wondering if a 40 degree locking block is a good idea to add. Recoil is slightly less punchy than my A1 but overall I didn’t notice much difference in recoil.
I'm posting to see if anyone has additional insight or suggestions.
I read some older posts saying people are getting mixed accuracy results with the Big Bog. I bought my Big Bog back in December 2025. YTD 2320 rounds through it, mostly 230 grain FMJ, but some 200 grain FMJ. Mostly Freedom Munitions, but also some Federal. I have installed all the HBI goodies, and have a Lingle lower. I started with a Sig Romeo O-MRS, but recently SBRed it and switched to an Eotech EXPS 3-0 with a G43 magnifier. I am aware of the height-over-bore delta with the Eotech (3.48' vs. 1.53' with the Romeo), but I prefer the "heads up" positioning now that it's SBRed. I had installed an Arms-Republic compensator that I removed after my last range session and went back to the HBI compensator (basically a thread protector with holes around the circumference). Huxwrks 45M on order; I'm a lefty, so gas-to-the-face is a thing for me.
My Garmin is posting 930 ft/sec with an SD average of 28 on 230 and 980 ft/sec with an SD average of 22 with 200 grain. My issue is that at 25 yards accuracy is stellar, but when I stretch it out to 50 yards I'm getting 4-5" groups; at 75 and 100 yards accuracy is more of a suggestion than a reality (All from a seated position using a leadsled support). Very disappointing! I get better groups at those distances with both my 1911s and XD-Ms. Hell, even my XD-S/XD-E print better groups from rest at 50 yards.
I'm going back to basics, keeping the HBI stuff on the gun, shooting the Lingle lower with the Eotech and magnifier, but I plan to buy 4-5 different brands of 230 grain ammo and, if I can find some 200 grain stuff 2-3 boxes of that, to run a full accuracy test.
I realize the Bog is not a 100 yrd POU weapon, but hell I'll take "1 minute of bad guy" accuracy.
Has anyone experienced the same or similar issues?
In my normal fashion, I’m going down the road to producing what I can’t find. In this case it’s 35 degree and 40 degree locking blocks for SP9A3/S models. I’m getting production quotes now on them so I wanted to see what interest there was. The plan is $60 free shipping, and I really just want to know if anyone is looking for 40 deg. I mainly want 35 because who doesn’t show suppressed these days 😬. Would love feedback back on interest below.
Also, waiting on bids for the wide mouth hand guard for suppressor and mlok function. Thanks everyone!
Gonna try the mini bog for the 3rd time lol. Last time I did most of the possible upgrades, but I didn’t realize you could change the locking piece. I have an Sp5k and the difference is pretty substantial. For the a3s, is the 40° the way to go? Is the difference noticeable? I only shoot suppressed, usually with a milkman but sometimes a flow 9k or exigent pointman. Thanks, excited to possibly be back on the team!
Finally got everything put together. The color scheme was inspired by my LTT Elite 2, aka Brendan’s Blaster, which has a Bazooka Green frame—hence the green lower. Really happy with how the whole FDE/green combo came together.
Has anyone run into this before? The firing pin on my Stribog broke. I’ve had it for years and have only dry fired it here and there, maybe 100 times total. From what I’ve read, dry firing can cause this, but it’s the first time it’s happened to me. Global Ordnance gave me a link to order a replacement pin, but I don’t know how to remove the old one. How do you get the firing pin out?
I reached out to CMC and asked if they had any personal knowledge of any of their triggers fitting a stock 10mm.
This was their response. "We haven't tested our drop in trigger or LCT with SP10A3 Stribog. Our LCT triggers might work as its mil-spec style" provided this link.
