Interesting. How are xPts calculated for the rest of the year, if our xGA is basically zero so far?

xPoints for the current year is only calculated for the fixtures played so far, not for the rest of the year. As for why our xPoints is lower than 6 despite conceding nearly zero xG, you can still draw with zero goals conceded so it's never a full 3 xPoints for each game.

Improvement is always good. But let’s be real, that Villa team lost a lot of key players and had many new signings watching from the stands. We were a bit lucky to catch them when we did.
